What a great world we inhabit when Collingwood and Carlton supporters all claim they're coming off their best year for a decade when neither makes the GF and one of them hasn't even made the finals 🤣
Add that to the biffo going on out at the Hangar a few days ago and the fact they sacked their coach after the most recent game (and he's now working for us again) it's a pretty good time to be a Tiger.

It's almost been worth the years of pain.

Almost.

One more would be the greatest painkiller of all.

We are also hated again which is awesome 👍

Think I read in this thread that we’ve been training to bring the ball to the ground in marking contests (preferably to our smalls advantage). Wouldn’t surprise me if this type of tactic is used when Lynch is not there. Bring the ground level players into it.

The thing you don’t want happening is opposition kpbs zoning off and taking easy intercept marks.
Yep, the ball HAS to be marked or brought to ground. It means the taller forwards have to fly for everything.

Also puts into perspective how important Jack was in that 2017 finals season. He was one out against 2/3 oppos and he flew for everything and either marked it, spoiled it or knocked it on. Brilliant stuff.

We've even now reached the point where we are hated so much, that oppo supporters are denying that they hate us, because they've suddenly realised that being hated is what we were actually aspiring to 🤣

They honestly don't know what to think - it's glorious 😁

Can’t afford to lose another key back before Gibbo can return

I think we have a bit of depth in that area. One sure thing is that with Gibcus out, we'll start and settle Balta into a key back role and I think that's his best spot for us. So when Gibcus comes back he might be used more as a swingman.

I think some credit should go to Jacob Townsend. He got to the front of the pack and pushed back which compressed the pack and made it easier for Jack to jump over the top. I would like to see that tactic used again against the defences that block forward’s from even completing

Aristotle Picket has chained himself to its rotting corpse.
Campaigner still won't let go.

No one hates teams who are failures.
Don't know anyone in their right mind who hates the Saints.
Dislike comes with the territory but it only affirms our trajectory.
I hate Carlton and they are a failure. I know hate is a strong word, but my psychaitrist said that's ok, funny because i saw I saw a framed picture of Nathan Buckley in his office.

One team i wish finished 2nd last every year. Not last because I dont want them getting 1st pick in the draft.

I've seen his kids playing kick to kick and I don't care if we have to roll him through the banner in a wheelchair, we need to get him to 100games.
I'm with you, strange hey, even if we have to get LotW to wear the 50 like a bit of Fine Cotton.....:tearsofjoy:

Beware the man with calculated hate, much more dangerous than reckless hate like Groupie;)

Marlion will get to 100 games and he will play another 3 years (RFC will make sure of that )
Everytime i have seen his kids they have a footy in their hands and can do some good tricks for their age and are always around the club

Marlion 12, Latrell 8, Shaniquae 7, and Levi 5,

Yep, and that won't be lost on those who matter!

I have to say that Carlton missing the 8 in the most agonising way was very satisfying, not once but 3 times. I was just about to book my flight to Melbourne(I'm in Hobart) at the 15 minute mark of the 4th Q V Collingwoodm last game to watch us play the Pies in the 1st week of finals. Just had a feeling to hold off. Lucky!!
