Nah this is simply not true, some teams do get the rub of the green and some don't.

Gotta say that some teams do get the rub of the green and some don't.

I’ve seen it. All it proves is that free kicks have no bearing on results. We won 3 flags in that period. Pies 0.

Seriously mate, fat blokes could play back then. Do I have to spell it out?
Comparing the physique of a player in the early ‘80’s with today makes no sense.
And no Maurice senior also wouldn’t last long if not in ripping condition.
But I’ve seen plenty of Senior to suggest he was reasonably ripped. Check his arms versus Junior’s.
Won’t continue on but I don’t agree with you. Maurice Senior would have killed it even in this era.

And there is also the other side of the coin .....the frees that should be paid against a side that don't. You have the dogs second on the differentials list, that also get away with throwing the ball, and have for years. Instead of the tackler being rewarded for incorrect disposal, it's called play on.

For those that don’t already know.
I think this would be a great concept for preseason. It could be a round Robin. Games in all footy states.

In Brisbane:
Lions
Sun's
North

In Sydney:
Swans
Giants
Saints

In Perth:
Eagles
Dockers
Melbourne

In Adelaide:
Crows
Power
Hawks

In Geelong:
Cats
Dogs
Bommers

In Melbourne:
Tigers
Pies
Blues

As a very rough example. 6 round Robin matches around the country for charity.. plus preseason fan engagement..

It’s not on purpose though. The umpires aren’t trying to rig games
watched at least 20 of our replays of us with Robert O'Gorman umpiring and can say without fear of contradiction, he has got it in for at least several of our players.... if not the whole team.

Add Curtis De Boi to the list

steve buscemi people to kill GIF

That was the smokescreen crumb to be fed to media , motive for meeting what are rule changes so we can get more frees
they never met with us at punt rd after the flags

They met with Scats when we won flags. Devising rule changes to assist Scats game style.
thats would be so funny if it were a joke

but its actually true..

did anyone think in season 4 we'd be talking about mrj's massive gut

I legit thought he'd be a gun by now

looks like he will delisted this year

In close games sure it does, we have all seen it all too often.

Yes, we were so dominant that we didn't need help ;) The pies on the other hand scrapped home in 3 finals by a combined total of 12 points. The GF and Prelim they won by a combined 5 points. Many dubious frees against GWS and Lions which many oppo supporters highlighted.

Anyway, I get what you're saying shouldn't rely on umps which we haven't, and won 3 flags but all I'm saying is in close games umps can definitely sway things one way or another.
