Agree, but with Gibcus fit we end up too tall. Especially if Brown comes on.

Not sure on Balta forward. But maybe 3rd or 4th time lucky. :straining: Maybe
Balta forward could be a beast... I remember Frazier Gehrig being a swing man before setting at full forward. Different game now I know but Balta has potential to be that style full forward.
I'm not too fussed if he plays forward or back though.

Also had to laugh at people not wanting dusty to train with the main group... I'd rather he gets injured doing that than limp into the season half arsed.

Lynch fit and Kosi IN the club, I think they will be the KPF options. Give them time to work in a fwd line not full of mids and pressure smalls.
With Bauer, Cumberland hopefully as 3rd talls.
Lynch Injury depth: Ryan?

I think Balta is better as KPD. with Gibcus when available
in the meantime Young..

Does anyone else think that a pre-season camp in Wonthaggi seems a bit cheap for an elite sporting club?
One thing is certain, the accomodation at RACV Inverloch where they stayed certainly wouldn’t have been cheap. Approx 40 people for a week at a 5 star venue would have been comparable to anywhere.

Apollo bay? Bright? Gold coast?

Spread it around by the looks of it. It's half a pr exercise.

Go to the Alps there and look for some murder victims might be a bit a good team builder.

Make em Run from Melbourne, no sleep, hunt for their food and then play footy.

Would have been my preference.
Percy cerruty style

Nah, beaches and hilly terrain as well as a flash resort is all the same state-to-state except for the water temp

Na he just missed goals he would normally kick
Was really inaccurate all year

Clean that up and he’s back baby
I said that during the season, only difference between close to his best and season 23, was accuracy. had so many games he should have kicked small bags but instead kicked 1g 3b

Majority forward, rotating with Shai.
I want him mostly Mid or atleast Dynasty levels of mid/fwd, he's still explosive and dynamic which only he and Shai offer in our midfield.

Dow, Baker and Sons could change my thinking if they come on as really good mids.

Was great for the supporters down here, ground was packed with Richmond people even spotted a Geelong supporter there.

Not really
Why waste extra money going overseas or even interstate when ultimately the actual activities and training the players will undertake is all the same

Thought it was a great location, far enough for the boys to get out of Melbourne and spend some time together and great for the fans in the area who might not get a huge amount of opportunities to see the players

See this is exactly it! who cares where they go really! but your message bangs home where we need to be! around the supporters who don't get to see them everyday!

i bet North didn't pack out the ground up on the gold coast!

Left to right - Sonsie, McAuliffe and Taranto.
It's fair to say that I'd love the two on the left to build a strong connection with Taranto.
I see a pretty strong midfield core with these three and Hopper.

Looks at Sonsies face. He is bloody keen to do everything he can do to play seniors again. Love it

On Friday, the group packed up their belongings, ate their breakfast, and gathered at the pool as the winner of the Tony Mangan Award was announced, as decided by Richmond Coterie members who joined the group the camp, Cliff Gale, Chris Homutowsky and Brett Vorhauer.

Remarking on what was an incredibly tough decision, Tom Brown, Sam Naismith, Dylan Grimes, Tyler Young and Kaleb Smith were all given special mentions.

But, ultimately, Judson Clarke was chosen as the winner for his positive energy, inclusive nature, and for being the "happiest guy to have ever kicked a football".

After an action-packed week, the group farewelled the Bass Coast, reminiscing on a memorable, fun-filled trip. Back to Punt Road for regular programming!
