Coughlan is our best midielder even despite his injuries. He is worth more than Graham and i doubt we will be lookung to trade him. Tambling is also starting to show his worth and i would like to hold onto him also.

joel corey, steven king anyone, joel corey would probably get a first round? but i personally would be happy with a second round

In all seriousness: What would Brisbane want for Beau McDonald?

While I have great faith in Trevor Woodhouse, I dont think I am the only Eagles fan a little nervous about Spaanderman as our primary backup ruckman. We're in a premiership window, and if the worst came to fruit, both Seaby and Cox going down in the finals with injury, I'd like a backup ruckman who's been there, done that. Beau fits the bill beautifully.

You have Charman, Wood, Leuenberger and Mitchell Clark?

Would u take draft picks to help out trying to get Riewoldt to Brisbane?
As I mentioned earlier rucks are probably going to be fairly highly valued and I would say that we would be looking for a 10 to 20 pick given not a particularly strong draft this year. That is on the proviso that McDonald gets through the year. He has looked pretty solid in the ruck so far.

The Lions might well look to put together a package of players. They are starting to get a lot of players who have played a few games and it is getting more difficult to keep them all satisfied. Puting a few together might be a way to get either a high player or a quality player to the Lions. Guys like Moody, Harding and Patfull all have a few games behind them now and look promising without being in the first 22 and could find themselves behind Clark, Tyler and the other promising players drafted this year. The Lions could maybe look to package one or two with Beau for instance to bring a quality player to the Lions.

Who'd want him though. Maybe West Coast, might fit in well there ;)

He's all trouble, too much baggage.
Thats not the dumbest idea tho if Fremantle were to let him go. Think about it.

He'd still be in Perth, so not have to move. West Coast doesnt really have a small, pack roving forward, so there's a chance there. So the Eagles go to Farmer and say" Right, we'll give you one last chance on minimum wage. We know about off field problems, and we're trying to solve our own. Come on board, let us try help you as we try to help ourselves and we'll give u a shot. Breathe the wrong way, and we let u go instantly."

Either that, or he goes back to WAFL. Which would be more preferable to Jeff?

Correct. I was trying to get both the 'banter' and 'serious' sides of it across.

Probably one the thing the West Coast do lack. I would've said Armstrong could fill that role exclusively before this season started. After 5 rounds, I've seen him spend a fair bit of time in the midfield, so perhaps he isn't the option as the small forward anymore?

What would be offered for David Hale and 2nd Round.
Want a player under 26 that key position, or quality out side midfielder

Are David Mundy or Johnson out of contract for the dockers? Essendon need a yound promising fullback to go with Paddy at CHB..

Ill give ya Tiges fans the tip now. Mark Coughlan is all but gone at seasons end. Very angry about the treatment he received from the medical staff with his knee so much so he went against their advice and got surgery from a different physio. Last time the surgery performed was very shoddy and effectively it didnt work. My guess is he comes back to W.A

Hope the Eagles offer 2nd rounder + one of our youngsters like LeCras McKinley or maybe even Priddis + 3rd rounder

He won't leave. We wouldn't trade him. If he asked to leave, I'd take Priddis/Rosa and a pick.

Nicoski and a pick for Joel corey

then West coast could trade Flecter for someone or pick as Joel corey would be better than Flecter

What would West Coast want for Mitch Morton? Has played less than a handful of games for them, but has really good skills (Especially tackling and kicking), a bit of speed and potentially could be a good addition to our midfield.

Hard to say, he's rated pretty highly by the club and it's only injury thats stopped him playing more games for us thus far

Wouldn't want to give up someone as promising as mitch. Should get a few games under his belt by seasons end. Absolutely sublime with his kicking. Pinpoint passes over 50m on the run. Will play alot like armstrong, playing in the pocket, then drifting up to the flanks then injected in to the midfielder. Was predicted to go top 10 in his draft but thank god for the father son rule!

Nah, I wouldn't give up nicoski for corey. If nico can string together a whole season and show the brilliant form he had last year before he was injured then he will be a certain starter and a very good contributor. Plays alot like lindsay gilbee. Both play back flank, both are very quick, give great run out of defence and are both very accurate LONG kicks.

Untradeable. Gonna be a gun and would be playing if he wasnt injured all the time

Didn't see, that bad to me. Graham is quality and everyone knows Sampi is talented, may just need a different environment.

Hale is a mediocre player IMO but gets a premium because many clubs are desperate for rucks/CHF players. Why would West Coast want him though?

Exactly, with Seaby/Cox holding up the ruck duties

Hansen/Lynch/Brown to fight over the key forward spots why do we need Hale?
