Another Ormond player taken to hospital after a dog act by #7 for Pegs . Will get 5 or 6 .Ormond running out of players sadly .

Was at the game for the first 3 quarters, won’t be 5 or 6 weeks. Deserves to be 3 weeks, don’t think the intent was as bad as made out. Hope the Ormond boy recovers, never like seeing injury’s in local football.
Pegs very Good side, Ormond competed however well and truely outclassed.
How was that only a yellow card?
Once the Ormond player was on the stretcher the umpire should have shown a red.

It wasn’t out of bounce it was in play then tackled then went out of bounce. Didn’t intend to do on purpose..But it’s very topical head high tackles.. and it was poorly executed. If he doesn’t hit his head on landing. We aren’t talking about it. Seeing more and more in afl.. it’s an issue that tackle
No it wasn’t. Was just in play after tackle and momentum he went out

The initial contact was in Bounds, was right in front of myself and the umpire also said so himself hence the yellow card and initial delay in what to do.
Undisciplined tackle that went wrong, was no intent in my opinion. 2-3 weeks is a fair punishment for it, just like the precedent in the Afl and previous weeks in the Vafa.

I thought I heard a whistle when there seemed to be a second action by number 7.
How he was allowed to keep playing after the Ormond player was stretched off is mind boggling.
If it doesn’t get 3-4 it’s a disgrace.

Once you choose to sling someone it’s your fault of the out come.
This out come was a player been stretched off no longer able to play.

When did it happen.
Two years ago, sling tackles were rarer than my hair. Now it happens all the time.
We have been the perpetrators and victims of sling tackles.
Not sure why it’s so prevalent.
Need to stamp it out.

Just saying it was not needed, I heard from a person after the game that it’s a straight out report . Let the judiciary decide, has to be at least 4 .

Just for some education.
In the seniors, yellow card can only be issued for an audible obscenity.
If a player is sent off for any other reason it will be a reportable offence.

Just saying he’s going to be okay from what I hear , but was taken out of the game and 7 will get a fair holiday.
