Is there any way to trial the game before you buy when it's released?

I haven't read anything about them releasing a trial version.

Honestly, do people (ie the makers) think its better than TAR, or just on par? Is it mre indepth?

I'm only someone who preordered it and has played since the first BETA version, not a maker... But i reckon it's a LOT better than TAR.

Unfortunately I'm going to be announcing another release push back on the website later today - to the end of September. While i know it'll be disappointing to many people I'm committed to having the game right before releasing it and while things are shaping up nicely we're not quite there yet.

While the game itself is complete there are a number of areas that still require further balance and testing and some bugs still to be sorted out. In response to some of the feedback that we've had I'm also going to be enhancing some areas including the match day AI.

The reception overall has been very positive and the game has evolved constantly over the past few month with thanks to some excellent suggestions and feedback from the Beta testers. I'm confident that you'll be more than happy with the end result and glad that we took the time to get things right rather than rushing out an incomplete product.

Also, please keep in mind that pre-orders are still open for people who are keen to see the game now, with twice weekly updates throughout this final testing phase.

I was right, probably the best decision though, as it's best that all the bugs are iron out before the game is released.

Can't argue with that. Not the best time to release I guess as the season will be wrapping up but better to release a game with as little bugs as possible. Looking forward to it anyway and will purchase a copy for sure.

Game Face is very nice
Game is still a bit jumpy
Had a few issues with the game not prompting me to play

It keeps getting delayed. The most recent release date was at the end of October, but apparrentley there are still some bugs that need to be ironed out, so no new release date has been scheduled.

Final stages of BETA testing began last Saturday. Very close to release and Ad has said if everything works out he might release it tomorrow. I got my money on next week

Game for PC, 360 and PS3 being developed by BigAnt. Will be released in March 2010 last I heard.
