Their trophy cabinet is located in the catering kitchen.

The guy who made St Kilda's only premiership cup probably was doing the initial sketches of it and thinking that as was so often the case in the past decade or so, 'Melbourne' would be inscribed on the completed cup at season's end. He might also have spent time wondering if England might win a more famous cup - Soccer's World Cup - in the tournament later that year. Perhaps he turned on the TV for background noise as he continued his design work, watching Mr. Pound and Dollar Bill explaining how the conversion from pounds, shillings and pence to dollars and cents would work next month; seeing Harold Holt sworn in as Australia's first new prime minister since Robert Menzies took office in 1949; and hearing the first reports of three children - two girls and a boy - inexplicably vanishing during a trip to Adelaide's Glenelg beach.
