Hi just visiting here and I agree the Eagles get a handy media rub but you guys seriously need to get past the Eagles issues you have. Hell you have beaten us enough times lately. Just get on with it and win some footy and you will get all the coverage you want. I am looking forward to seeing Hill and how he will go so its a shame its not on tv. Rich was alright tonight did anyone here watch it?

we will get over the eagles issues when the media gives us a fair go, you wouldnt know how frustrating it is untill you experience it, we could win the next two premierships and all the media would have to say is that the eagles have won three.......
it is a shame the game isnt on TV, im sure hill will perform well... rich did look handy tonight, there is a hill V rich thread started now which hopefully people will get on and discuss both players efforts

A delayed game would be a hell of alot better than no FTA coverage at all. I don't remember your NAB cup game being a sell out yet that was on FTA yes?
Mind you it was thoroughly entertaining watching the Egurls get flogged and Woosha claiming he wasn't concerned.
For those that didn't realise, in the first week of the NAB Cup Ch7 gets 2 games and Ch10 gets 2 games with Foxtel getting the other 4 exclusively.
Ch7 had the South Africa game (Eagles vs Collingwood) which ended up being at Subiaco. They also have one next week (Probably a Friday night game). Ch10 have two Saturday night games, the Brisbane match and the Geelong vs Crows match next Saturday. The rest of the games are Fox games. Therefore the Freo were never going to be on FTA tonight. It would have been decided months ago when the NAB schedule came out. Freo not being on FTA has nothing to do with Ch7 but it being a Fox game.
As it is the NAB Cup the agreement where local teams have to be on FTA regardless does not apply.

That's not what the thread was/is about. We were discussing how it's not on FTA at all. I ended up going, kinda glad I did...my best mate shouted me in exchange for my Freo car seat covers (I've got new ones), plus lunch and dinner

Shhhhhh don't come in here and talk shit, the Essendon v Bulldogs game was on FTA and PTV so if the FTA networks wanted to they could have shown our game tonight.

So, instead of being greedy noobs, Channel 7 should've given 10 the rights! That way they are showing 3/3.
Why is it a problem if our ex players dont wanna bang on about how good they were in the media?
