Pt2: Adrian Dodoro: Football’s Biggest Fraud IMO

Brad Scott at his press conference today, fired a couple of shots at Dodoro. Is Dodo bullet proof?

Mahony is gone and sheeds is still in there.

Brad Scott may as well start digging his own grave now if he wants to start a gunfight with adrian/billy the kid.

Hirdy has more chance of replacing scott than scott has of getting dodo fired.

The place is rotten to the core. Cancer has had its way with its innards.

The club has never admitted any culpability to the doping scandal. The fans are testament to this.

If you still believe you made no mistakes, how can you rectify the issues that led to them?

No remorse, no reflection, no reckoning; the same cancerous core.

Instead of wailing “woe is me, we’re the real victims” the supporters needed to raze that place to ground and start afresh.

To have a genuine shot at the 8, and play like that…Essendon fans, if you aren’t calling for the place to be burned to the ground…if not now, when?

I look forward to Dodoro winning the trade and draft period once again.

No one does a better job of finding solid afl talent that can play 2-3 positions to a moderate standard. I mean from 2013-2016 he drafted Jayden Laverde, Kyle Langford, Aaron Francis, Darcy Parish, Mason Redman, Darcy Parish and Zach Merrett, Jordan Ridley and Andrew McGrath with picks inside 30, as well as Alex Morgs . 7-10 years later (those players are 24-28 and in their prime) and all except 1 are still in the AFL and have hit 100-150 games. 2x All Australians. The bloke just rarely misses... and the team sucks as a whole

He's the recruiting equivalent of the 60 year old golfer who takes a 3 iron off the tee, bunts it up the fairway, hits the green in 3 and 2 putts every time. Every shot is solid enough, but at the end of the day 18 over par isn't getting you the trophy.

Perfect analogy. He can find good players who can do good things, but other teams take the picks who may end up great.

A few years ago they had 3 picks inside the top 10? Have any ever blown a game apart ?

Sorta like having a shot at winning a premiership and getting done by 619 goals, right?

Nope, never.

TBF Reid has been injured and Cox is just returning from injury(I don't think there's cure for pea heart syndrome) but mummies boy Perkins is just another vanilla, unremarkable * player. In the mould of number 1 bust McGrath.

The problem is for Essendon is they are filled with high disposal low impact players. McGraths and Parish are loved by Essendon supporters, and they get plenty of the ball but they do SFA with it.

Last issue they have is McGrath.

Not really one single players fault. It's a bit of a weak culture. So football department and list management has been wanting for some time

It is so much this.

We don't know what we pumped the players full of but we know it wasn't illegal. How any of their supporters live with that is beyond me.

yep if u dont know, it just as easily could have been steroids

thats the ridiculous thing about the bombers view of the list build circa 2012

they feel hard done by because they say the drug sanctions stopped their list from challenging, and dodoro may have actually built a challenger 10 years ago

how do they know they didnt have a crap list overperforming due to roids/peptides/jabs/all of the above?

It’s a bit like how you stopped supporting the eagles with all the drug issues going back a few years, right?

I never wore a sombrero to a game or participated in fan campaigns #standbyhird or any of the bs plenty of your fans did. but yeah, sure, a team wide, team sanctioned, team run doping campaign is exactly the same as players abusing recreational drugs in their own time.

Cousins, Kerr & Co were probably very lucky that their transgressions were mostly pre-smartphone / social media. Would be a lot different now. Cuz probably gets filmed and outed very early in his drug issues, has a cry on camera, plays the mental health card and spends some time in rehab if it happened now.

Sheedy, Hird and Dodo. The father, the son and the holy ghost. The Essendon holy trinity.

Almost guarantee there will be back room rumbles to bring Hird in in some capacity.

And if Scott starts talking s**t about Dodo, then Scott is gone. It's as simple as that.
‘The father, the son and the holy ghost’ LOL …… this is where the club needs to rid itself of all of them to progress.

How the board find comfort in these jokers amazes me and how the supporters haven’t demanded a clean out even more so!!
