Pt2: Adrian Dodoro: Football’s Biggest Fraud IMO

Thank god that Dodo got pick 61 last year and offloaded Massimo

Ignorant post.

This one was just good recruiting.

Massimo was stuck behind Redman at Essendon. Redman had just had two straight top 3 B&F finishes and was in the AA squad. Massimo was stuck and Hawthorn knew it and made him the offer.

He’d hardly played for Essendon and was out of contract so wouldn’t command anything else in a trade.

Your silly post also misses the point that it was Dodoro, not any other recruiter in the league, who drafted MD out of the VFL in the mid-season draft. Demonstrably, he rated him.

We did a similar trade for Peter Wright. Traded a fourth round pick and he kicked 50 goals and won a B&F.

You just keep pulling yourselves exclusively over the failures and ignore the rest. Standard of brainpower around here I guess.

Poor management from our whole club, we couldn't see the potential in Mass like we should have. In a year where we've tried Jones, Kelly, Menzie and Tsatas on a wing, a player, we let go for a pick we couldn't even use just made the AA squad, as wait for it... A winger.

But it's done now, good luck to him.

So in retrospect not worth throwing money at to keep?

Ignorant is your post.

Hawthorn were eyeing him off in the mid season draft as well. Do you know why Hawthorn didn't pick him up in the mid season draft instead of Ramsden?

In the end it wasa monumental list blunder (which meant we got Massimo for virtually nothing) from the worst list manager of the last 20 years, this was just another example of his amateurism given he didn't understand the nuances of midseason rookie contracts.

Why would a winger be stuck behind Redman?

Are you saying that your coaching panel couldn't identify his best position?

Don't you know you can only play one winger in a game, certainly not two. And there is no way to push a winger onto a half forward or half back flank if blessed with an excess of quality wingers.
