That training jumper should obviously be our clash jumper. I don't understand why Puma and the club can't see common sense on this.

It’s like a reverse bounding Roo with the stripes being on the bottom. Not sure if I love it or not, kinda cool take on it to make it “different” I guess.

Once they get enough sales of this they will say "ok we've listened loud and clear and the 2023 will have the classic stripes above" and then it will have only 2 stripes so in 2024 they can update it again

Spot on. Puma does not partner with the club just so it can display a little logo on the guernsey. It needs to sell stuff, and for the same reason a clothing label is constantly releasing new designs, we will have a jumper update every year.

Yeah it has gone the way of EPL clash strips as an annual makeover for the apparel sponsor to recoup their investment. They can't mess with the home strip too much (although our previous supplier did) so they can't get people to buy a new home jumper every year.

Not sure why they didn't invert the colours of the away jumper to avoid a clash. Bounding roo and stripes at the bottom should be white, rest of the jumper should be blue. That way our home jumper is the white jumper, and away jumper is blue.

I've done the maths, and it turns out yours would be eleventy billion times better than our clash strip.

I think we need to give it about 3 years of demonstrating that our home kit is an acceptable home kit for >90% of matchups before we can bring back the inverse strip, or any other mostly blue strip and be sure they won't make it out home jumper.

We need an auto-responder bot for here and the jumpers board that says this to everyone who makes this suggestion.
