Hope Vikings can play as well as the coach talks!!!!
Just reading article in paper.....not only ls he talking premierships but already how the vikings will be in the next division in2016...
Go the buffs....hope yo kick their ass till their nose bleeds....

Gotta know what's going on everywhere AN. Not sure how good my spy's are up your way. Maybe you can play the role up North for good old Blocker.

No not at all.....every coach will say premiership the goal.
But a bit of respect to the comp you are going into....talking about next season higher division before a ball has been kicked....

Fair call AN. Be interesting to see how the Vikings shape up oming back up from Div3. I think if they go alright along with Bond a few teams might try and make the jump as well next year?

So you are having a go at a guy for trying to sell the club in the local rag? A paper that is completely biased towards our local league club as you would know as you must be a local AN. So a bit harsh jumping all over him for trying to talk up the club.
Also just remember that we were in QFA just a couple of years ago (even won a couple of premierships a few years back) so why the shock we would want to get back to that level? We are a club that has been successful in the past and want to be successful again at the highest level we can play. So dont know what your issue is?

Agree top 3 should feature next two not sure...
Tigers able to play on their ground.....heard alot of contaminated soil has to be moved.....
If so no home ground advantage could hurt ....

Would think you would have to win the GF Macman or at least finish top 3 to even consider jumping another division in one year.no matter how good the sell you still need the cattle. I know Coomera have really struggled with the step up. Think it has got a bit harder the last few years than it was 5-6 years ago.

Is this fact about the Tigers ground . If so massive news as last year from all reports they were very tough to beat at home would make a huge difference to there season or even the start of there season .

Hope they can get rid of mozzies at same time. The tigers don't seem to have to many problems winning away from home in previous years. So I would think they would still scrap in even if they played away all year. Maybe the newly named Moreton Lions might let the Tigers use their precious oval?

My spy.s must be way off mark as no one was rating Suns or Pirates that I have been talking to. Can't believe you are all off the Bond bandwagon and not giving the Saints a sniff.

Yeah I hear ya Blocker. Played QFA in 2013 and were on the receiving end of some of the worst thrashing in my footy career. Definitely not a fun season and not something we want to jump back into blindly. But we are growing again and looking forward as a club, so cant blame us for having a goal.
But again coach was talking in our local rag newspaper and in no way was having a go at this comp or any other teams. We certainly did not do that last year when we dropped down to div three and are not that type of club. We are just looking forward to getting into some footy and see how we go, but our goal at this stage is certainly to be playing at the pointy end of the season, as would be the case for most clubs I would imagine.
 
Good to see the draws are finally up the AFL Queensland website. They may need to have a look at the SEQ comps section though. Teams are all over the place and not in the right divisions yet. Didn't know UQ were in the A comp, while Bond and Wynnum are still in Div 3 by the looks of it?

Contract out to move asbestos contaminated soil ...not sure if ground or surrounding.....apparently found when new construction started....

A couple of quick texts to enquire: I have been told the contaminated soil is in relation to the clubhouse foundation work, ground has no
issue with soil condition.
