Yeah not sure about that Miller. They certainly don’t come up here chasing cash, most get well less than half of what they can get in country vic. It’s more that the qafl is suppose to be a state league comp and the best standard in the state.
It needs more money to produce a better product. We need to keep as many of our quality players in the comp.I’m not suggesting ridiculous Lake Boga type payments but even locally proven state league players are by passing say $350 a game for Redlands to get $800 a game at Beenleigh! I know it’s always happened and will continue too just reckon the Maroochy exodus has highlighted a bit of an issue.Good luck to them though and good recruiting also.Plenty of top quality boys running around up here!

And on another note hearing Moreton Bay also pressing for entry into QAFL
Who isn't... :)

Brown paper bags and white shoes are the order of the day
Its a slang for saying wealthy speculators.
Thanks for clearing that up Lagging and yes we may have a few floating around thank god😂
And if Freddy’s profile is correct and does follow Hawthorn he would be well aware of the so called ‘white sock’ brigade!

and 4 x Pre June 30 exhibition games dotted around country vic - pretty impressive to build that profile as just a very good state league footballer.

WIll be interesting to see how he goes in the O&M, reckon he will be just as effective as he was up here - but the on-field treatment will possibly be worse and see how that impacts him.

I'm not quite up to speed with him...

Does he make money from all of his social media stuff and profile (not including match payments)

Smart young man if so. Just needs a haircut. His do is horrendous

Good on him though

See Surfers premiership player and a very good player in Jack Yelland is heading home after 4 great seasons for the Demons, Hes signed up with Wodonga in the Ovens & mURRAY

See Broady have announced the recruitment of Kasey Nickalus from Perth football clud in the WAFL .. he has played some 57 senior games and was named at centre half back in the 2022 WAFL team of the year ...now thats some acheivement ....should be a absolute gun in the QAFL
Hearing they also have former Richmond and Suns player Marchov training with them as well.

Very interesting how they fit them all in but great recruiting.
