AND.. The mighty Moorooka Roosters stormed home to claim the 2007 Ressies Premiership.

Please join us at The Chook Pen from 11:45AM until late as we welcome all of the Griffith Moorooka Old Boys back to where it all began. Cold beers and hot pies are thoroughly encouraged, while a good time is mandatory.

Reserves: 11:45AM

Seniors: 2:00PM

**Old Boys Half Time Sprint**

Masters: 4:45PM

Face painting for the kids, live music from 1:30PM

Ash Templars spot in jeopardy with the huge signing of gun roosters forward Mitchell "I'm a daddy's boy" McMillan.

Also rumored that Ash "show me the money" Templar could be looking for a move back to the chook pen to play on permit for the friday night side as he is unhappy about being pushed out of the senior side by this young up and coming superstar

There is no way possible that Templar will be replaced by McMillan who couldn't even hold down a spot in the Roosters seniors, very lazy player from all accounts.

Has his daddy gone with him? Been at a few clubs in recent times those two. Surprised he's not at Ormeau tbo

Wait, a guy is changing clubs within the same division mid season?

Going from a lower performing one, to the one at the top of the ladder?

Unbelievable! AFLQ shouldn't allow clearances like that, unless the bloke has moved house or something

Just didn't seem to fall into what we we're trying to put in place.

Has a lot of work to do if he's to be a good senior footballer as he just wasn't conditioned when he came to us and not ready for seniors.

Wish him the best but feel the players may be abit hesitant to welcome him when we host the sharks in a few weeks. Haha

It's a stability year at the club getting it back from where it was last year to be in a good position. We have slowly done the hard yards and blooded some good young players and while no doubt players will come and go at the end of the year our main focus is to bring back our women's and Colts sides and be an attractive club to come to in south of brissy with 3 men's teams and growing juniors.

We'll continue to have a crack in the last 6 weeks of the season and see what happens

No disrespect to the Roosters
But if he isn't good enough to get a game in the bottom team what hope has he got getting a game in the top one this just don't make sense ,

I've got 100 blokes who in my opinion deserve equal opportunity to develop as players and fit into a new club culture without us bending over for a select few.

Beenleigh would be a good fit but he won't get a game there anymore in seniors anyway

Knowing Rod Brown he wont tolerate a player with this attitude so i would dare say he wont last long there either

I have a lot of time for him but unfortunately I didn't feel that was reciprocated hence why we didn't fight to keep him.

I just hope for his sake he can eventually allow another coach to get through to him as it seemed he only listens to his father, because he could then potentially become a quality FF. until then he may jump from club to club looking for the silver platter that must be owed.

Wow 6 clubs in 4 years, for one senior game. Says it all really.
 
Hardly going to get a fresh start elsewhere with this sort of public commentary on him!

No matter where he goes, he'll be coming from a long way back.
 
Not going to help the kid if he's able to read this.
I don't know him from a bar of soap but sometimes getting away from the father figure and starting fresh on his own is a good thing.
I have seen dad's ruin good kids with bad advise many times.
Just find a club and start having fun with your footy and the rest will follow.
