Can someone please fill us in on the moorooka wynumm game.
Trying to work out how wynumm made kedron look like pedestrians last week and lose this week.
If it's because moorooka were just too good then they could be Smokey for finals.
From last to going deep in finals would be a massive effort.
Big well done to all involved.

Roosters just too good, played with great intensity, Wynnum almost snatched it at end, would have been an injustice if they did. Well done to Tommy and his boys.

What a disgraceful effort from hinterland yesterday showed no ticker in there 4 quarters of misery against Moreton a true pack of spuds.
 
Anyone heard the rumour that Jesse Lawrence just got signed by Maryborough bears and will go back to the wide bay on a six year deal Huge whole in gympies midfield

I don’t think you understand hinterlands situation.
They had about 10-15 players turnover each year for the past 3 years. Hence why they’re finding it hard to gel. Hopefully the new coach can keep the players for the next couple years or so. As for calling a team “spuds” you just keep running around in gympies reserves mate

Yes and I'm led to belive it's worth well over $79.00 a season plus a pie and chips.
Let's hope he stands by the deal and spends the next 6 years in Marybrough.
With deals like that and an exotic location on offer the exodus of quality players is very concerning for clubs.
Let's hope the madness stops at one.
 
Would seem both Marooka and Hinterland are travelling better than Kedron, but Kedron got the points in the bank early in season which should see them scape through.
Wynumm seem to be having lapses in their games which is now catching up with them. Still see them going a fair way into finals as their best footy is as good as any in comp.
Moreton Bay keep getting the job done. Young team but keep standing up to the challenges.
Ipswich continue to win comfortably and are genuine chance come finals.
Jindalee have improved over the season and play a good brand of footy. Closing the gap between themselves and everyone they've played.
Pine Rivers probably should merge with Redcliffe or head to Friday night footy, especially with no juniors coming through in the next few seasons.
Redcliffe have gone backwards on the field, coaching appointment will be interesting for next season.
Gympie... pffft send them back. Despite having some talented players, they have too many grubs who'd rather hit off the ball than play the game.
Big 4 weeks coming after the bye week. Keen to see the outcomes of games that are deciding finals spots in both grades.

Good analysis all round. My two cents with Gympie they jumped the gun and tried to move up too early. Last year just by going off results they looked to have had two strong teams that both played finals footy and seniors took the flag. Currently they’re doubling up reserve players in seniors not to mention the coach is playing himself just to field a full team.

Quick glance at a few games last year and this year and there’s a lot of names missing! Has to be something to do with the way they play, players joining up for a year or less and then wanting out probably don’t want to be painted with the same brush.

Tommy does a great job, he has a great resume getting the best out of clubs.

Swans tigers merger? That’s hilarious! Both teams have full squads just not enough quality senior standard players. As for juniors pine rivers is very close to a very big club . With a flashy complex at Brendale which makes it hard!

Yes indeed the run home is vital for a couple of clubs.
Morteon the front runners and well deserved.
Good young group who turn up every week.
Wynumm as I've said before hot and cold.
There is a huge difference between thier best and worst.
But come finals their best is good enough.
Ipswich flying under the radar but doing what needs to be done.
Not sure if they can beat the top two.
Kedron have the talant and can go all the way.
I'm thinking the bye week will do them the world of good.
Get a few of the regular senior players back and will push hard at the back end.
Moorooka take them lightly at your own peril.
They are constantly improving and with some belief they will be hard to beat.
It seems to me that bar any hiccup morteon play in the gf.
Who they play is still up for grabs.
Anyone of the four below them have the ability to get there.
Should be an interesting next 7 weeks.

Reckon travelling 600km for a game of footy might turn guys off at times. Let’s not brush over that especially when I often read comments in this division of how far it is to nambour. It’s hard for nearly every club on the coast to keep blokes playing. Reasonably transient. The jobs often are casual type, blokes move for lifestyle but miss home in the end, every club including Roos and Noosa suffer from it but these clubs cover it better.

I'll give two positives and one negative on the clubs in this comp.
Best pies has to go to wynumm several different choices with crispy pastry. Recommend the chicken.
Best team to umpire in the twos goes to jindalee. Some of their lads have the best banter.
Worst place to park.
Jindalee get it again have to get Google maps out to find your way after you finally find a park in the next suburb.
Any one else care to put their two cents in.

Friendliest canteen lady - Pine Rivers, mature age woman, reminds me of my mother, very warm and welcoming, can of coke wasnt bad either.
 
A couple of season defining games this week in Ipswich v Kedron, Hinterland v Moorooka.
If Rooster get up they will almost certainly lock in a finals berth giving them 8 point gap. If the Eagles defeat Kedron they will lock in the double chance and finish top 3

Our Vikings canteen guy Gav, makes the pies and sausage rolls himself. They are very good eating I assure you!

Ipswich a defining game ? They will get belted by Kedron only making up the numbers in the finals havnt beaten a top 4 side this year they can only beat shit teams. Everyone laughed when I backed Moorooka to be in finals at least we can beat top 4 sides take a brave person to tip the Eagles to go deep into the finals if they make that is and for the Vikings don’t get your hopes up you guys been playing like shit and we proved that last round 2 shit coaches that lack respect from their playing group and fellow peers and both most likely won’t have a job next season probably the worst in the competition
