Round 1 I think was called off, but AFLq allowed for a wet weekend and played the games at a later date.

but normally if it rains, you aren't playing....

Maybe by not allowing for a wet weather round this year they are willing to let games go ahead unless it's a safety concern (electrical storm) not to jinx it.
