He didn't in 2015, he does now I think. Dawson definitely an option as well. I'm not sure who's the best tap ruckman.
Cameron out, Mummy out. Bring in Dawson and Taranto. Himmelberg was alright but give him a rest for Dev. I hope Leon is watching tonight's game... its about pressure. Stop playing so many talls!!

Those of you suggesting mummy should be dropped are kidding yourselves. Barring injury will be one of the first picked

LC basically confirmed that in the presser

Let's move on to realistic ways to change the make up of the line up
Mummy's ankle is stuffed. He is on crutches.

So what has happened to Jeremy Cameron?

After his first two seasons he promised to be the most dominant CHF in the game. Now he can barely take a contested mark.

Good question. He was up and about earlier this year, but his confidence suffered once Patton, then Lobb, pushed him further upfield for kicks.

As one of those suggesting Mummy should be dropped, it might be startling to some but I believe most people are able to distinguish between multiple scenarios, for example:
  1. What a poster thinks should be done.
  2. What a poster thinks will be done.
To give examples:

IMO we need to drop Mumford (spent most of last night providing ineffective taps, fumbled balls, and smothering Giants players able to get their hands on the ball) and move Lobb into the ruck full time, then replace him and Cameron (injured, otherwise it’d be Himmelberg) with two small forward or midfield options. Fewer tall options also reduces the “bomb it in” epidemic that sees either an opposition mark (by good teams) or a spoil and clear (by any team).

And then...

Won’t happen though - IMO SJ will come in for Cameron, and while we’ll probably knock off Port or West Coast we’ll lose at the MCG to Geelong because we’ll be run off their feet again.

This year he has really change roles and also had a stop start season with soft tissue injuries. These two things may be closely related. He is doing far more work up the ground both offensively and defensively. With all the extra running, this may be the cause of his hammy troubles? I think they will reassess his role again for next year. His first half of the season the club were happy with, but I think that our forwards set up and I50 plans need a complete overhaul. Let's start with no more than two tall forwards a game. Then get Toby a couple of small forward mates capable of kicking 2-3 a game.

And then...
we might as well start discussing the likelihood of buddy and Ablett signing up... it's a pipe dream.

Which was my point champ

Good to see you're cracking down on this risky "hypothetical" talking. Wouldn't want it to catch on.

Wait a sec...

guaranteed midfield spot as opposed to competing with the other talent? Seems there or carlton would love more midfield depth.

If I was him id be a blue

...why are you saying what you think he should do, rather than what you think will happen?

There's plenty of room on BF to discuss both what people would like to happen and why versus what they think will happen and why. It's even possible to post on them without demanding people they have to discuss it your special way.

The difference is one is a possibility the other has been confirmed by the coach as not happening

It's a valid point of comparison.
