M34, Row R. Think that should be undercover. Quite happy with that.

Had the usual trouble with Ticketek, however. Logged on at quarter to 9 this morning. Refreshed the page at 9, then had to wait is a queue...I've never seen a queue page online before. Stuck there for 25 minutes while it refreshed itself every ten seconds, waiting for "other customers rto secure their tickets". Strange, but not surprising!

Anyway, stoked to be going!:)

My home and away seats are M34 row W and thats not undercover. Anyway pretty anoyed got on at 9:00 and ended up getting seats in the Olympic stand level 4.

^ I always find it impossible to get tickets in N and P when ordering more than just a few.

I had to get 9 tickets today so took the safer option in M. Like Matty says, will just brave the rain (if it even comes)

MCC members, Q47 row H 1 - 3, undercover, doing the road trip from adelaide with 2 west coast fans, hoping the drive home is miserable for them!!!

This isnt really about this Saturdays final but i really hope someone knows the answer here.

Ok so with that thing there allowing you to do this year where you can buy two tickets with 1 membership. Will that be happening for the Prelim and semi if we have to play next week?

Thanks heaps.:thumbsu:

Considering it timed out twice on me because it took forever to load, M19 DD not too shabby

You did well. That's what I had last year in first Grand Final.
I had the time out problem as well. I wanted to smash the computer.
I ended up with M18 Row R.
Will be spewing if it rains.
Got under cover for Carlton and Essendon. M26 though.

Had to take the laptop with me as I was having a CT scan @ 8:30am and AFL Members opened at 9am... Got out at 9:01am was logged-in by 9:02 and had finished the refresh queue by 9:08am!

All N had been exhausted (had N24 for the rounds), but had the choice of M or P. Went P as I want to stay dry! Pretty happy.

I'd say it would not happen again, but that's just a guess.

I think it only occurred this week as the game was never going to go close to being a sellout, so they could offer extra tickets with each membership.

As, no matter if we win or lose this week, the next game we play will be close to a sellout, and I doubt they will offer the same 2 tickets per membership again.

As I said, it's just a guess, but it does sound logical.

Oh, and to the poster above about level P, pray the wind isn't blowing in, because you will get wet up there if it is.

I too think it will only occur the first week of finals but I don't think thats the reason. My mum and brother (both Carlton supporters) missed out on tickets today and they are AFL members. Guest passes were being sold and plenty of people were buying three with one membership for the Elimination Final so a potential sellout wouldn't be the reason for this. It's just a money hungry move from the AFL to cash in.

I really hope this isn't the case throughout the whole finals series. Even though they are Carlton supporters, I felt so sorry for my family. They've been to every game this year (including interstate) and now someone who mightn't been to a game all year could be sitting in their seats come Sunday. They were devastated.

Well that's just typical AFL bullshit really.

I could understand the extra tickets for the Pies game, and maybe even the Hawks/Cats game, but not the biggest drawing game of round 1 of the finals.

I'd be pissed if I missed out after going all year.:(
