Might have been said, but during that last quarter when we turned it around, the players i noticed who did some really important things were the same who have been somewhat missing in action lately. Ryder was immense a couple of times, Howlett did a couple of really nice things, and Zaka of course. As soon as those sort of players get really involved we look a million dollars, but all have been average to poor contributors of late. Very important thing to note is that these players stood up in the last quarter. Not quite cooked yet perhaps?

There was a passage of play that resulted Nick Kommer and an umpire having a conversation and Nick was stating his case and swearing and the umpire said "if you use those words to me again it'll be 50" or something along those lines lol

Exactly. Why would he get showered if we lost? It was his first win for the club and he got a powerade shower.

Very good and important win despite the recent developments, I honestly thought we would have your measure considering what was on the line.

I've been incredibly impressed with the players resolve, it would have been easy to roll over on Sat night. I do hate Essendon, can't stand the club, however at the same time times like these are dreadful for fans, we have been there and we weren't responsible (fans not the club)

Do it again against Richmond, show the the loyal fans such as yourselves that the club is there to play and win, will do a world of good.
