My god there is a lot to love about that list.

Would love to see Williams, Bergman or Mead given a run too. Not that I necessarily am gonna point to guys they should replace in the side, would just love to see them out there.

Melt Thursday will be on like Donkey Kong if Mitch goes. Dixon for Ebo or Westhoff perhaps? Nah, who am I kidding? There's no way Ken drops either.

I'd love to see Watts in, am ambivalent about Ollie (not sure we are quick enough with both he and Rockliff)

Surely Watts for Lienert is a pretty clear swap.

I don't think there is a place for Wines. I'd rather Rocky and nobody else is really like for like. Unless we were to drop McKenzie? That sort of works as we still have Westhoff as the 7th defensive man.

Imagine if someone said to you that night “enjoy this because this will be the last final Port win until at least 2020”.

After rewatching that game, I can see why PAFC went down the trade route rather than continuing to develop. However in hindsight the trade and top up route has cost us dearly. 2022 might be our next chance.

is this on channel 7 live?

I watched this on youtube

What I loved the most was big Westhoff marks and his lifting of the knee to guard his space and let everyone know contesting a mark has a price

oh and this was the first game my niece and nephew went to. They got so carried away with the PAFC crowd's energy, they nearly short circuited.

Wines is a walk up start if fit. He is one of the most important players we have. The Adelaide midfield (Ugly Crouch, Uglier Crouch, Sloane, Gibbs) is not quick but if you let them get the ball first they could destroy us.

Dixon, Wines and Watts should come in. Ebert, SPP and Lienert are the likely outs. If we moved Houston to defence, maybe we could keep SPP and drop McKenzie. SPP would be super unlucky. But if its a choice between him and Wines, there is no choice. Butters would be looked at too but we spent a bit investing in the future last year and I can't see us going back on that investment this year. Georgiades will play for this reason. And Butters has to play just for that vision of him making Lard look like a keystone cop. Can you imagine if he could do that again on Lard?

Watched the last quarter. Only 5 blokes from that game are still on our list.

Btw when i wrote this i didnt notice ebo in the side. Wines in ebo out is also pretty straightforward

And look at the difference in attitude as well with Hinkley running on the field trying calm the team down coz he knows the jobs not done yet.

Compare that to his reactions to winning regular season showdown and having a laugh after a must win loss.
