very well summed up by Ant

I don't really like the guy. I think he got sucked in to the access the club gave and came here to crowdsource content. However he's obviously a passionate Port person.

I hadn't watched anything of his for at least a couple of years. That video after the Thursday game was actually a bit shocking. He looks like the club has actually broken him. PTSD dog in human form.

Poor guy wasn't even old enough to see us win our only flag either. Imagine growing up supporting us from around 2007. Unbearable

A Crows supporter rang in and says a showdown is as important or almost as important as a GF.🤣

"As important or almost as important as a GF" is a stretch, but I can see from where he's coming. I do not entirely disagree with him.

Showdowns are a tournament in themselves. They are by far the most important games in the Minor Round. They are, indeed, Finals-like.

Went to the local shopping centre today and it was Spewville Central. Cows supporters bedecked in their fruit tingle guernseys. Funny thing they all looked brand new and smelt of mothballs, as if the gear only came out of storage. I had my Power cap on as I always do and thankfully no one passed any comment.

* the Cows, * Ken Hinkley, * David Koch they can all get ****ed. That changes nothing but it makes me feel a little better.
I was at Marion shopping centre for a couple of hours late yesterday afternoon and that place is usually fruit tingle city, before, during, and particularly after a winning showdown, and I didn't see a single plonker wearing tingle gear.

Maybe they are getting used to giving us regular smackings, or have worked out we are going nowhere with kok and kern and it doesn't matter as much to them any more.

Yeah, I kinda feel the same way.

He's quite vanilla and boring and this forum is full of people with more knowledge and insight into the games and the club. Someone on here said that he came onto this forum to ask people for content and it didn't surprise me. He doesn't say anything with real insight just the obvious. It also wouldn't surprise me if he reads the content on here and then formulates his videos with his own flair.

He's somewhat closely connected to the club and gets some access to the players so he can have a cry which is fair enough, he's definitely a Port man, but he really isn't going to criticise anyone in particular. He's not going to go hard. There is no deep analysis of the club. He will say he's sick and tired of the eleven years but he doesn't have the cajoles to simple say Sack Hinkley.

I like his Rocky poster though.

I don't know enough about Anthony Alesiani to be aware of his level of happy clapping and I usually don't give a fat rat's clacker about any podcast, but as I was up and about earlier than usual for a Saturday I did have a listen to what was posted above, and if he is/was a member of the HC club I thought he went as hard as could be expected, including having a fairly solid crack at the BS game plan, and obviously our moronic coach.

The way I see it is if the Happy Clappers ARE finally getting the message the club is going nowhere under this current regime the light at the end of this long dark tunnel that we have been in for the 11 frustrating years of this kok/kern nightmare may not be the train after all.

The goal kicking inaccuracy is linked to the game plan - long bombs to the boundary line and hack kicks into the forward fifty won’t result in high percentage shots on goal consistently.

I still can’t believe how bad the forward ‘structure’ was against the crows. What is the justification for basically banning leading tall forwards? It doesn’t make sense.

Agreed - GF is a stretch (but then again what even is a GF when your a Hinkley era PAFC supporter).

If you can’t get motivated to have a crack at the intensity that a showdown should bring then what hope have you got to win a final.

Look at Daicos match winning goal. How much space did Collingwood create between the pack contest and goals.

Yep. Everyone focuses on the finish but whatever Collingwood were doing to create that much space for him to run into at that point in the game was outstanding.

If that was us you'd have Horne-Francis breaking a tackle to get out of the stoppage and then being confronted with a wall of half a dozen opposition players and having to kick a high floating ball over them and through for a point.

Spitting facts.

Again, this absolute shidiot is a known clapper who defended the regime to the hilt. He deserves the pain. **** him.
