Pathetic comment.

The side was playing very well, and there were no players who were obvious weak links.

It's harsh on the kid, but there was no one who needed to be dragged.
Fresh legs. First round draft pick. No chance of finals. What's the point of having a sub even?

Bond, pick 60 or something. 6 kicks all game. Murphy, from the souvenir shop, 9 disposals all game. But yeah,

You don't see the upside of bringing on a fresh player when the game is in the balance?

Murphy had like 4 possession fir the game is he not a good option to sub off?

In that case, we should have stopped using any rotations on the bench while we were playing well. No one deserved to be dragged.

Absolutely pathetic comment.

That was a very good coaching effort, and a VERY young side looked excellent on a ground that's VERY hard to win on.

You people are absolutely blind. You've closed your eyes to what actually happens out there.

FFS - that was a tremendous game and still the same old whingers are here saying the same thing they post every time, just rinse and repeat.
Not using the sub til the last few minutes is good coaching.

Seriously you have as much idea as Nix!

They weren't struggling - it wasn't obvious AT ALL who to bring Curtin on for.

Christ, the same people with the same ****ing opinions on here, it's like people don't actually watch with fresh eyes every week.

Tex clearly injured, should not have played.

Sub could've been made at half time.

Murphy with his standard last quarter 'effort' of 1 disposal.

Not obvious??

We either forgot about Curtin..... or brought him on for the last 3 minutes because we were worried about the optics of having him not subbed on. Both deserve Nicks to be sacked.
There was no player who deserved to be dragged - we wanted to win and there was no one obvious to take off. We weren't being made.better by taking someone off for no reason and replacing them with a teenage kid

Why?

He's a skinny teenage kid, what were you expecting he was going to do? It would have been good for his development but would have done nothing to help us win.
You're showing that you both have no clue how good the kid is, and no idea what fresh legs can do in a football game.

Try watching the game.

How often is the sub brought on this late in the game.

We had plenty of options to bring off earlier.

it's laughable you are even attempting to justify this madness!

There were two games LAST WEEK when the subs didn't come on at all!

Say who you think should have come off - go on! And say why some teenager was going to do better than then in helping us win the game.

You don't watch the game - you just cut and paste in your previous comments because it's easier to just say the same stuff over and over and over again.

Clearly blindly supports this club & can't say anything bad.

I could understand if we were top 4 like the Cats not bottom 4.

Accepting mediocrity means we won't make finals any time soon.

Leaving Curtin as sub for so long was moronic & could have been the difference.

Murphy litereally had 1 touch and no tackles in the last quarter, None!!!!!

Mate, this might be the stupidest ****ing post I’ve read in the history of big footy. Congratulations.
Who would you have taken off??

What a ridiculous thing to say. WE WERE WINNING, in a massive upset, due to how well we were competing against a much older side.

The side wasn't going to be improved by bringing a teenager on to get experience - no one deserves to be dragged.
