Was Rankine rested in the second half? I barely saw him.
Great question. Did he sit on the bench all last quarter?

You have no way of knowing where his confidence is at.
It's been clear to him all year what he had to work on, and he's been given bigger roles and more time around the ball as he's developed.
It's a ridiculous impatience to think he should have been further along, and it is unrealistic to think that he's upset.
This was always a development year for a teenage kid who was coming back from injury.
He or Keays most improved this yearSholl turning into quite the wingman
We continue to occupy that sweet spot:
Not winning enough to achieve anything
Not losing enough to change anything
Let’s relax a bit? We’ve won a game with no expectations on us but a number of changes posters have been crying out for all year being vindicated, includingCome onnnnn, where are the whingers? I know at least 80% of you deplorables hated that win because it reduced the chances of a top 5 Pick…
Come on lads, out of the woodwork! Tell us all the negative stuff you’re feeling

Has ANY club played like this all season?
How was Hawthorn's start to the year? Was that their coach's fault?
How about Carlton or Sydney now? Sack their coaches?
We started off the pace, with essential players not at 100%. Today's win shows there's some real promise there.
The apologists say the list is inexperienced or young or that we had injuries, it's the haters that say it's shit. Please don't get us confused.Call it what you want.Until Nicks Coaches something resembling a top 8 finish, or even produces 3-4 wins in a row against decent opposition,it's as solid a theory as any.
A lot better than - " The list is shit" excuses trotted out by the apologists.
We were missing a lot of players due to injury for a lot of the season who played in this game. Plus Rankine from a dumb arse suspension...If we played like this all year, we would be playing finals...so this is just a reminder that Nix has wasted another season.
Let’s relax a bit? We’ve won a game with no expectations on us but a number of changes posters have been crying out for all year being vindicated, including
1. A full game to Dan with a license to attack the ball
2. Smith, McHenry, Jones out of the side
3. Laird out of the midfield
Different plan though today. Most noticeable was our hustle to get into position and our look to move the speed of our play to take advantage of this. Really showed when we came out of defence. So good to watch this unNicks like style. But he is still learning i guess…….Has ANY club played like this all season?

He clearly had to work on the defensive side of his gameYou have no way of knowing where his confidence is at.

The main flaws are that he’s not an accumulator, and not a one-touch playerI really liked what I saw from Berry. Really developing into a valuable player.
Its the South Australian sporting traditionOur season is over and we play like this. The apologists come out of the woodwork.
Well, I'll have Jones over Murphy.......I hope we never see Jones, McHenry or Brodie Smith wearing a Crows jumper ever again. No offence to them personally.
Earlier this year I called him a spud of the highest order.Sholl becoming very good on that wing. Once puts on more size will be a weapon
He's great at providing that outlet option when others players run into troubleSholl becoming very good on that wing. Once puts on more size will be a weapon
I would literally rather see jones at HF/small forward/mid than Murphy..I hope we never see Jones, McHenry or Brodie Smith wearing a Crows jumper ever again. No offence to them personally.
How do you explain our 1st month of football...We were missing a lot of players due to injury for a lot of the season who played in this game. Plus Rankine from a dumb arse suspension...
Funny how you get good player back, you win games.
He always works hard to get deep in the defensive squareHe's great at providing that outlet option when others players run into trouble
Or Dowling over both.Well, I'll have Jones over Murphy.......
Jones the shape keeper vs Murphy the human potato. Now there's a title fight.Well, I'll have Jones over Murphy.......
