You have no way of knowing where his confidence is at.

It's been clear to him all year what he had to work on, and he's been given bigger roles and more time around the ball as he's developed.

It's a ridiculous impatience to think he should have been further along, and it is unrealistic to think that he's upset.

This was always a development year for a teenage kid who was coming back from injury.

He absolutely had to work on being a full back for some reason

Come onnnnn, where are the whingers? I know at least 80% of you deplorables hated that win because it reduced the chances of a top 5 Pick…

Come on lads, out of the woodwork! Tell us all the negative stuff you’re feeling

Let’s relax a bit? We’ve won a game with no expectations on us but a number of changes posters have been crying out for all year being vindicated, including

1. A full game to Dan with a license to attack the ball
2. Smith, McHenry, Jones out of the side
3. Laird out of the midfield

Has ANY club played like this all season?

How was Hawthorn's start to the year? Was that their coach's fault?

How about Carlton or Sydney now? Sack their coaches?

We started off the pace, with essential players not at 100%. Today's win shows there's some real promise there.

Go Away GIF

Call it what you want.Until Nicks Coaches something resembling a top 8 finish, or even produces 3-4 wins in a row against decent opposition,it's as solid a theory as any.

A lot better than - " The list is shit" excuses trotted out by the apologists.
The apologists say the list is inexperienced or young or that we had injuries, it's the haters that say it's shit. Please don't get us confused.

This isn’t quite the positivity I was looking for, I was just hoping for some input from our moderators

Different plan though today. Most noticeable was our hustle to get into position and our look to move the speed of our play to take advantage of this. Really showed when we came out of defence. So good to watch this unNicks like style. But he is still learning i guess…….

He clearly had to work on the defensive side of his game

I thought that remedial work really came to the fore in the last quarter today

I really liked what I saw from Berry. Really developing into a valuable player.
The main flaws are that he’s not an accumulator, and not a one-touch player

Saw the fumbles on display a bit today, but when he grabbed it cleanly, he was the most damaging of all our mids

I hope we never see Jones, McHenry or Brodie Smith wearing a Crows jumper ever again. No offence to them personally.

I would literally rather see jones at HF/small forward/mid than Murphy..

But i’d have Dowling miles before both of them.

I’d even rather Jones over Laird. Laird is pure shite.

We were missing a lot of players due to injury for a lot of the season who played in this game. Plus Rankine from a dumb arse suspension...

Funny how you get good player back, you win games.
How do you explain our 1st month of football...
