Something left field to try and stop their run from centre square which probably wont happen but I'd be tempted at stages to start Charlie in the square just for the ball up's.
He has the speed and want to put physical pressure on the ball carrier. His closing speed could cause them to panic and release the ball sooner than they probably would in the hope of causing a turnover.
I want Eddie coming off the back of the square more often in this game. Able to get in the way of the usual Danger forward surge, not to try to out-body anyone (absurd) but to use his incomparable skill of getting to, clinging on and stripping the ball, or even just being an annoying nuisance when the ball is being fumbled and flicked around in the centre bounce chaos.

I'm sure TheMetricSystem will have the good oil on who has general soreness and who is coming in this afternoon.

...... oh wait.......:oops::'(
Gonna have to let this go. Anyway I think we now have a BetterMan ;)

Forward line was good Defence was ok considering how much it came in. Midfield problem just bring in Lyons for Mckay maybe Yolman for Douglas

Dangerfield: "Geelong is similar to Adelaide. It is a one-team town; everyone loves their footy and they all love their local team."

What...? Are Port irrelevant or something?

Beautiful :)

Kelly if he's right for Cheney (he's shithouse)
Lyons in for Mackay (injured)
Milera in for McGovern (rest)

Cheney is the weakest link. Multiple games his defensive pressure has cost us goals in vital situations. It's only due to injury he's held his spot. Time has run out for him.
The weather won't suit Gov. Will be slippery conditions. I love him and he has a spot but will suit midfielders more than tall forwards.

what the hell with posters picking Kelly as a in ,did not play last week and very doubtful if he has talent and ability for AFL anyway.
Not my pick but think they are going to pick VB along with Milera back in.
For me pity Knight not knocking down doors in SANFL asa believe he is best answer to keep Mackay out.

Kelly isn't coming in surely. Missed the last two weeks with a broken hand and wasn't doing anything special before that.

Milera for Mackay only change IMO
Short odds

Lyons and VB held to a half just as a precaution to cover any problems arising through the week or falling out of Sat's game.

Brad Crouch will most likely injure himself getting out of his car today so it's sensible to have some cover

Yeah that's fair call about Kelly but I'd take an underdone youngster than the hack we have in Cheney everyday. I'd rather us play with 21 than have Cheney. It's a year too early for Doedee and Hampton can't get going so it's either VB or Kelly for mine.

Geez, he makes it hard to hold a grudge...

Jeez no Mackay, no Wright, no VB (hopefully). Im really hoping Menzel can squeeze himself into the side somehow and somewhere over these next few games, I think it will only benefit him and he will go up a gear ala Charlie.

Maybe after the Geelong game it might be time to rest Tex and get Menzel into the side. He is a very, very good lead up forward. (Obviously not to play at CHF, but he would provide another target. Jenkins at FF with Gov at CHF).
