Surprisingly yes, thankfully staff came before it got too nasty. More just disappointed, there's been an increasing frequency of violent crime in my area and it's in full view of CCTV etc. the perps just don't care anymore. This stuff means quality of life goes down a bit, if it can happen to a fit 30 year old bloke then my wife absolutely does not feel safe going to the station by herself. For someone who doesn't drive that's very isolating and limiting. Won't be long before we sell up and move out of Melbourne me thinks.

Got my car insurance renewal yesterday .... and because of my loyalty .... it's only gone up $18 per month. Boy am I thankful. Anyways, after an hour or 2 of scrolling through, online quotes and painful phone calls, I am quite entirely surprised that the Commonwealth Bank insurance, for the same car, with the years of loyalty, will actually be $35 a month cheaper! The Commonwealth Bank!! Goodness. Whoduthunkit.

I got the same earlier in the year.

My insurance was $650 for 2023, and for my loyalty, it only increased 31% for 2024.
Same thing, I got quotes online, and it was still the cheapest, lol

The wife and I pay $1700 a year between us for a 2023 Hilux and a 2021 Rav4 Cruiser...

Paying monthly is a scam, too. I always pay mine in full to avoid the extra $20-30 per month the vultures add on for the convenience...
