She'd have the Trump loyalists, and she'd still have a few of the democrats onside, I doubt Harris has that much pull in the party anymore considering how badly she bombed.

This is exactly why we shouldn't appoint partisan people into ambassador roles.
Rudd himself made the position untenable by entering into debate the US political system.
