First draft, feedback welcome, fairly happy with it atm, would have liked to grab watts as a back but will wait to see how his mid role is working out in nabcup

Just curious, why is everyone picking Laidler? Will be depth for us...

Like Laidler's potential but I will watch the NAB Challenge and see whether he get some game time before I decide.

I could be wrong, haven't followed our Pre-Season hugely, but I really think he'll only get a go if we have some big injuries down back.

I suppose the answer is that he is as good a choice as anyone before nab cup and the rnd1 teams are named, pretty much all rookie bench list players can be interchanged depending on playing status without too much trouble.

I like it, I've got a very similar backline, think your mids may let you down with 3 new guys on the park.
Would be tempted to drop longer for a cheaper ruck, swap fuller for a cheaper rookie back, downgrade Clark to a cheaper forward, and downgrade one of Martin or Tyson and Upgrade the other.

Who to trade Longer too though?

Pretty solid backline. Not sure on the roles Shaw and Bartel will play this year so keep an eye in the preseason games. Probably could get rid of one of them and play one of Kolodjashnij or Fuller on the field and use the money elsewhere.

Midfielders
D. Swan, G. Ablett, C. Beams, J. Martin, S. Pendlebury, S. Selwood, D. Thomas, J. Polec
(X. Ellis, J. Aish)

Like this midfield. Plenty of strong captain options and good rookies. Obviously keep an eye on Ellis to see what happens with him.

Rucks
M. Lobbe, A. Sandilands
(T. Derickx, B. Longer)

Pretty much the same rucks as myself at this stage. Will be a popular setup.

Forwards
L. Franklin, S. Menegola, R. Gray, J. Roughead, L. Dahlhaus, A. Fasolo
(R. Nahas, S. Kersten)

Not a huge fan of this forward line to be honest. I think with guys like Dangerfield, Martin and Wingard in the forward line you need to be picking at least 2 of those. Love having unique players but feel like this forward line won't be able to be consistent enough. Franklin and Roughead can probably stay as your premiums but I would look at bringing in 1/2 of the aforementioned.

Need your rating. Been playing for 4 years last season my lowest was 1900 and peaked 2442. But I need you opinion about back should I replace D swallow with a rookie like kade kolod. My best mid is Ryan griffen. The rest are good as well but I am unsure whether to get a high primo like gaz or swan for captain or just put danye beams captain or griff. Rate it please. I think it is good but still unsure about swallow.

For some reason i can only see the defenders or you did not post the rest of the team. But the defence for my liking You have Mcdonald on the bench. Trade Enright to K,Kolod then trade ? Bartel to M.Fuller then you have got a lot of cash to buy a GAJ or another premo forward. Post the rest of your team.

I like. I think Ryder will be good for 100ish while Bellchambers is out so worth the start at his price, though Pyke is tempting at 40k cheaper. Not sure about Thurlow, have to wait and see, though if he's named round1/2 I'll grab him in Fantasy, especially if prices are based of two rounds.

Pavlich is an interesting one. He's underpriced but I'm not sure by how much as he doesn't have the speed or midfield time that he used to get, but as he showed at the end of last season still capable of toning up.
