some feedback on my side would be great, as ive given some back to the b/f community

Not much wrong really. Hodge looks wierd in the mid, but that is because I'm so used to him in the back line. I have heard Ladson is unlikely for Rnd 1, but that may just have been what I have heard. Everything else looks pretty good to me, Franklin out Rnd 1 but that doesn't matter much for head to head leagues. Everything on this team looks solid to me, quite very solid to me.

Now onto my team.

DEF: Goddard, Fisher, Hodge, Kennelly, Gram, Hunt, Sheppard
RES: Maguire, Davis

MID: Ablett, Ryan O'Keefe, Hayes, Vince, Trengove, Martin

Trading out Rioli and Burton, bringing Murphy and Dangerfield in. Hoping both, especially Dangerfield, will have gun seasons. Burton may be past it, and while Rioli is due for some huge scores, I'm not sure if or when that will happen.

i believe trading out those two will pay off.
your side does look solid as well, but im just not sold on the whole Fevola thing. good ruck combo, hille and tippet will pay off, thats the reason why ive chosen them both
solid midfield and forward line.

I am hoping Fev fires hugely, but I'll think about the risks involved before the start of the season. For his price, is there much better?

I had Ladson, but switched to Hunt as well. Ladson may play round 1, but I have heard he may be doubtful, so I traded just to make sure.

You should probably put shepphard on the field in your backline and get phil davis on the bench to save some money, you could then maybe even downgrade franklin to a ziebell or medhurst to save up more cash to upgrade your backline. But otherwise i love your mids and forwards.

i have a few question marks with naitanui though..
i quite like ur forwardline aswell, but not sold on ziebell though, no doubt he is a good young player, but the injury prone side of thing keeps me clear.. nd im not really sold on medhurst, never really have over the past 3 years!

haha just did downgrade to tippet, edited it straight after i posted, you can see the changes, put gibbs -> selwood brown->pav trengrove->warnock and gumbleton -> watts not sure who i would upgrade ladson to any ideas other than kennelly

Hey iv considered a few of ur thoughts and I adjusted my team around little
TRADES:
Schoenmakers out Sheppard In
Still only a em. but could be a handy one and hes bout 50k less than Schoenmakers.

Higgins out Pavlich in
Higgins is a bit injury prone and with the money i got from the previous trade got a very strong pavlich i hear. watch out bigger and better than last season
Watts out tapscott in
Only did this to get some cash
Rioli out Giansiracusa in
Gia has bulked up quite a bit over the break could be one of the doggies best this season
Kosi out Bradshaw in
I think bradshaw will do great for the swannies this season will more than likely be their highest goalscorer i like the looks of him

To be fair, he missed games due to a broken bone, would have most probably played 22 games had he not got injured up in adelaide.

Should average 65-75 this year with more time in the middle with stints up forward also.

Backs: Trade Gram, he isnt the greatest SC player, clangers the ball a bit. Try bring in Goddard, really reliable and high scoring sc player. Theres alot you can do with it, id trade clarke and bring in J Trengrove.

Mids: Delidio really let me down last year, hopefully does better this year. Trade Bastinac to Cunnington, his more ready to play footy then bastinac.

Forwards: Petrie will miss the first 3 rounds of the season due to suspention, i picked him but i have cover.

Alot more to be done to your team thats just some help for you.

I would take Pods out. Probably won't get a heap of games, will come into the side only if hawkins or moons are injured/suspended or, in moons case, being rested a little in the 2nd half of the season. He would likely be a better option later on in the year to free up some cash.

Waite im not sure about coming back from injury mabye theres a better choice
Ur midfield is strong very little flaws if ur worried bout palmer mabye try teammate S.hill hes bulked up heaps he looks good and about the same price
Rucks are fine mabye fit warnock in ur em. as a back up instead of prato
White dont worry i like the look of him pushed forward alot for the swans and can kick a good goal seems good for his price
Im not sure how many times iv said this but take out b.harvey hes way overpriced and i think there are better choices cheaper than him. bradshaw fine should top score for the swannies great pick

need to make some massive changes i dont like both maguire and sheppard in the backline, broughton was great last year but mayb a bit expensive for a 2nd year player

midfield is way to top heavy, i think keep ablett find some cheaper options for swan/montagna ie gibbs, vince, pendles, selwood etc and upgrade jackson, if you want 2 rookies trade scully for trengrove he looks like he will play more games

Cox hasnt been looking great if you wanna spend that amount of money i would get sandilands and swap mcintosh to tippet

Forwards swap tippet to ruck find someone else his price, with the extra cash you have now i would upgrade monfries and one of rohan/butcher

What other changes did you make? i personally wouldnt touch kerr, he is injury prone and it is guaranteed he will get suspended at some stage

2nd Crack, nobody is a lock until after nab cup so a lot of guess work.

BAC-Goddard, Enright, Hurn, Hodge, Hunt, Ladson, Sheppard EMG- Maguire, Davis.

MID- Ablett, Hayes, Vince, Cooney, Dallziell, Martin EMG- Shuey, Bastinac.

RUC- Sandilands, White EMG Lobbe, Warnock

FWD- Reiwoldt, Sylvia, Tippet, Rioli, Dangerfield, Henderson, Tapscott EMG- Gumby(gonna toss missin first nab game) Dennis Lane

I know the forward line is really weak and backs are injury prone but e'll see how they perform in the NAB cup.
