I like Cotchin. Was tossing up having him myself.

Drummond is always a risk as is Kennelly but both could pay handsomely. Trouple is, they're both in your backline which you may need to cover.

Reid probably won't make the team this year.

Waite might be dicey and Pav might be a bit suss too.

Just a cple of random thoughts.

Backline - Drummond is injury prone, while he can score big I would personally stick well clear of him. Fisher played more of KPD role last year which resulted in his scores dropping, I'd go Gilbert who took over his role. Not a fan of Gilbee either, if he cops a tag you can basically cross his name out that week for scoring anything decent, he can't break them. Watch the NAB Cup for the rest and check out their form, etc.

Midfield - Cotchin is a concern with his injuries over the last 2 years, watch him in the NAB Cup. If I was you to free up some cash I'd swap Martin in for him who I think will score just as well and maybe swap Morabito over to Trengove.

Forward line - Fairly solid. Waite is a bit of a concern coming off a reco but nothing too major. Maybe swap Higgins in for him and get another mid. Those are just my thoughts on your team anyways.

Gumbleton - Out for rd 1... I'd say the danger signs are there already. (That's why I went with Playfair).

I'm right off Pav this year. Just can't see him making it. I have ROK fwd and then you could go NDS or alike.

Like Harvey as a fwd but age is the concern there. I tried to keep to players 29 or below. I'd prefer Brown over Fev in the fwd line.

How much coin left?

Very little coin left. I am confident with 2 rookies in the mid, with the 4 other mids I have. I have heard Gumby is out for Round 1 of the NAB Cup, but I'd probably still rather Gumby over Playfair.

Sorry mate, but some of your advice isn't that great. Starting 2 rookies in your midfield that will play and rise in value is very smart. You should always be thinking about what will happen later in the season - spend the money elsewhere on players that you will keep and not trade.

Alright, let's not start something with this.

Personally, I am hoping the rookies I pick can play week in, week out, only trading if need be or injury occurs. If a player plays, at that price, I would be happy as long as value goes up. If a trade looks nice later on, I'll make it, but I am happy to keep rookies that play every week, and with the rest of my mids, they are well backed up.

Yea I wasnt really confident with Kerr so I took out Enright and Fisher for Hargrave and Hodge witch I think r fair trades
And that gave me the cash to be able to bring in Van berlo for Kerr

start again with ur forwards and backs its all about a bit of balance
this might sound stupid cause hestill gets the same points but goddard in the backline looks more natural

and i wouldnt go with rucks from the same team

got some real unproven players around ur back and forward..i always have the same problem wen i pick midfield first becos i see and i want.. try pick a couple players in each position first then go from there and should giv u a more rounded team.
