not sure of trengrove starting in defence mabye try B.sheppard
Uv done fine with ur mids and rucks are good to
Forwards not to bad mabye find a replacement for hawkins and Rob murphy could be a 50-50 im not sure
Franklins out first week but DL can fill that spot

Overall about a 7/10 with a few improvements could be a very strong side

RES: Tapscott* out for 8 weeks just found out on melb board, have to rethink that choice, Possiadly

Backs are a mix of good and bad. Hodge is in my side but dont expect him to play all 22 games. Goddard is a lock. Get rid of Jesse Smith. Keep and eye on Waite's pre-season. Try and fit in Ladson, Hunt or Kenelley if you can, both should increase in value pretty quickly. Im looking for cheap backs too so cant really help you with the bench.

Mids are a mixed bag again. Get Morabito in your side, will reward you for it. Vince, Prismall, McVeigh (both the ESS and SYD one) would not make my side even with blinding pre-seasons. Try and sneak Cooney in if you can, very undervalued. The midfield is probably the only place you can get away with having a few kids starting so look at doing that if you can.

Your rucks are the same as mine, make sure you keep an eye on both Charman and Warnock over the next few weeks. Warnock's a walk up start for Carlton if fit, Charman is a bit more of a risk given Brisbane's ruck depth.

Forwards -get rid of Steve Johnson. Never plays 22 games, is inconsistent and better value to be had elsewhere. Hall is also a big risk and its pretty unlikely he will play more than 15 games. I'd give Harvey a miss too.

I really like that backline. Solid and then some. Gilbee burnt me last year but perhaps he's worth another go.

Good mids. I'm backing Burgoyne too.

Good rucks. Maybe Lobbe won't play many (apparently)?

Fwd has big probs. Chappy - Injuries. Gumby - injuries. Rockliff - How many games will he play?

Firstly I removed Watson and put in Martin to generate some cash.
Took out Chapman (Even though I have a man crush on him) and Rockliff for Pavlich and Franklin.

Still stuck with Gumby, but have $127,300 in the kitty.

I'm not a fan of this side. Your midfield just doesn't look strong enough even though I am liking all the Crows players

Lose Cotchin off your bench for a rookie. Put one more rookie on the field in your mids or forwards. See if you can find a value forward around $300K for one of Higgins, Knights or Rioli. Then use the spare cash to upgrade Black and Krakouer. This team would look completely different for the better if you could reach Ablett

Not sure about starting 5 rookies on the field. I think the side needs a more balance. You've got premiums and rookies with no mid price players who are more likely to play 22 games, blokes like - Ladson, Walker, Mayne, Staker.....

Backs seem good not sure about p.davis starting will he get game time???

Mids: Not sure a bout Hiigins bit inconsistant and injury prone to me for a bit more mabye hodge or cooney
Rucks are fine
And forwards wonna im not happy with but dont no wat bettr u can get for his price. U probly no Buddys out for Rd1 so u need a replacement on ur bench Gumby can do that but taps out for 8 weeks with a knee so mabye try Denis-Lane

Man, I love this team! Some different players for a change!!Not sure on Youshira, Can the Japs play AFL??Might as well get Majek Daw in from North Melbourne.. Looks the goods and as the first Sudanese player..anything could happen...Risky, but man I love your thinking..Get some rookies who will play during the NAB cup and update your bench and sit back, relax and enjoy yourself over the season.. you will have alot of fun with this team! Love your surprise picks of Mackay, Knights, S Thompson, Armitage, Urquhart and Krakwhoor..
