Call it a pet peeve, alot of my family follow north and he was one player who stood out that I didn't like.. Plus got burnt bad when he got injured last year.

Well his average scores in the four years previous to his injury last year were 109, 101, 110 and 112.. even with the injury and only playing 15 games last year he averaged 88.

Maybe you should qualify your future advice with [personal prejudice][/personal prejudice] tags next time just so the recipients of your advice can be clear on the matter.

Well first of all do you have anything left in the bank?
Goddard can also be a back so you will get better value if you put him down back for say broughton? Then use the money you would've spent on broughton to cooney? I wouldn't have broughton cos he looks overpriced and generally as a rule you'd give 2nd year players a miss.
I've been told Talia is to tall to go in to your team this year but eventually should be good. Houli isn't worth it, from a bombers upporters view he hasn't showed any signs that he will improve. Hurn had a good tailend of the season last year so may be a little overpriced but if you want a risk he might pay off but maybe you'd be better off giving him a miss for maybe waite if he makes rd1? Selwood as in adam I presume, he could be good had a few god games in there last year when he got let off his tagging role to play a bit more freely, I think I remember a 130 in there somewhere, definitely a point of difference. Your forward line is good, be aware though that buddy will miss the first rd1 but if that doesn't deter you he should improve with his team this year. Zeibell and kerr in your mids are both big risks, zeibell could be a bit expensive as a second year player coming off a broke leg but if he can come back well he will be worth the risk. I think we all know the deal with kerr, he looks good but ever since Judd and Cuz left he has gone to the shit.
Time for take two I think but not a bad effort

Mate, if you want Buddy you should draft him. Better to do it now than burn a trade later I reckon. It's only one week and if you've got coverage it won't make a huge difference in the big scheme. From what I hear he's been training pretty well so I doubt his price is going to drop significantly... mind you, it IS Buddy. He's like a box of chocolates..

I see your logic, and I know head to head rounds don't start till round 4, so I could do it.

He would boost my FWD line I think. I'll see closer to the first round. If some of my young guys are playing first round, I'll start one of them and put Franklin on my reserves. I'd like to have a playing 22, so if one of my benchers play, I might trade Franklin in

I'd probably have to trade Riewoldt out for a cheaper option and trade Knights out for Franklin. That would sound like a good trade, I guess

If you want both Tippett and Syliva in the team, Trade Tippett out for Sylvia then Hille out for Tippett.

Personally not a big Sylvia fan and think Tippet could really take his game up another level so I'd go with him. Also think you should change to mitchell to Corey had Mitchell all last year and found he was quite inconsistent one week he'd score 125 next week you'd get an 80 he may have been a victim of circumstance but I really think Corey or Gibbs is a better option at that price

Really like the backline Maguire is a risk but other than that looks very good. Not that keen on Gray maybe better options than that in his price range, Armitage also unless he is going to get consistent games this year maybe look to down grade him a bit Burgoyne is a good option

I like the Thomson pick in the midfield, could be alright if he gets a go. I dont like Byrnes, there's probably better around his range. Theres a lot of money on your midfield bench, so maybe trade one of trengove, martin or mora to a cheaper type to upgrade byrnes.

On to my side, any thoughts would be much appreciated.

Not too happy with my midfield. Im thinking i might need another guarenteed 100, but im hoping that Vince takes the next step and Cooney and Burgoyne bounce back. If this happens it could really pay off.

Pretty happy with my ruckmen. Hoping i can just leave them both to play 22 games and not worry and hope that warnock can make me some moolah.

Not 100% with my forwards, but if Rioli gets more midfield time and Dangerfield is going as well as they are saying, it could be alright. Hoping to look for someone other than Watts..

should go alright i reckon.

Burton and Wona are my only worries there.

The backline is the problem Goddard and Newman are good choices but after that most are either hit or misses should look to upgrade there, Rucks look solid, forward line is good but with risks in Williams and Murphy.
Also like the midfield nice balance maybe look at other options than addison
