Burnt a bit by Bobby Murphy last year with injury or poor form. Would be watching Otten carefully over the preseason, not sold on him. Morton has never been a great scorer and could find it tough for a permanent spot in the Tiggers outfit. Porps has have his injuries too...

Thanks for the feedback - your comments are appreciated and it looks like I still have a bit of work to do.

Will defintely be keeping an eye on all four players during the pre-season games.

I wouldn't worry about the 3 rookie minds, Harris and Swallow should get good game time and be able to average around 80-90, and Mzungu looks the good!

With ya backs you have Goddard, Gibbs, Deledio and Heppel who are all MPP M/B so i would put one or 2 of them in ya midfield so you can rotate them around if need be.

Not bad fowards but Didak, Knights and Petrie all have injury risks.

I would put one of them into your mids and move Pav into the foward line for Crocker then slide another rookie into your backline, Faulksy looks likely to play early.

Not one mix up of two players from the same teams in any fields, right amount of rookie/premiums, not to mention i did my homework on the rookies. Nice amount of MPP players in all areas to help coverage of byes. Right amount of GC players and almost 100K leftover...

not bad rourkey1 seems like u have the standard backline with the inclusion of murphy which im assuming is rob murphy from the dogs who on his day can score big but was a dissapointment last year. stong midfield and ruck obvious question is can tippet turn it on. up forward uve got the guns and knights and petrie are the obvious slight gambles. looks good cant really fault u too much others might though lol.

thats a hard team to criticize, cant knock much except maybe pavlich and his woobly knee and chapmans hammy maybe, hes very expensive.

Pretty good first up apart from Bolton who is out for the pre-season. Also not sure about Hurleys SC scoring ability

Hurley can score but i think in this game he is over valued but there are several guys around his price that are over priced.

Ok so this is my second time trying this doesn't get any easier and still thinking of making a few changes, any advice is welcomed.

I made a few adjustments to the forwardline backline and changed a few rookies.

BTW I know the picture is small so all you need to do is.

Right Click > View Image > Zoom In

EDIT: So I did a few changes since this last team and I'm really liking the look of this one.

That said, with a "consensus" emerging in respect to some of the ostensibly attractive rookies and well-priced players with significant upside potential, I wouldn't propose to do so until the first round of NAB is done.

No doubt there will be changes in perceptions and proposed teams, so IMO it doesn't make much sense to opine before we see some guys run out on the park. Esp with respect to the highly rated juniors who haven't played with men much. Maybe that sounded odd, but you get my drift

You need to spend a fair portion of that $320,600 on improving your forward line. Franklin is probably the only keeper there, meaning you've got six upgrades to make just there. I think Petrie's only worthwhile as a ruck forward combo (most likely with Tippett) and he's too much to spend on a backup.

Seems like a lot of speculative picks that may pay off...probably too many, with a lot invested in guys like Suban, Ward, Scully, Veszpremi, Krakouer, Pettard and Gray, who could all go either way. I'm also concerned about Harbrow, teams can afford to focus on him a lot more if he plays the link man from defence role, like he did at the Bulldogs. If you switch a few of these for sure-fire rookies and upgrade a few others with the leftover cash, your team will be looking a lot better.

Overall not a bad team
I had Goddard Gibbs Deledio in my backline then is told to move one of them into the mids. not sure why, hopefully someone can explain it to me
Only worry is Everitt - not sure how he scores in SC or where/how often he will play at the Swans
Mids are solid
Rucks as well
Fwds only concern are Varcoe and Petterd due to injury. you will have to keep tabs on them
