Fiorini is the future, whereas Lemmens won't get a game once Rocket is replaced.
Bizarre decision, and you're right Ablett coming back is irrelevant.
It's not just his disposal it's his awareness and football smarts which is why he gets smashed and injured usually in the first place. It's his inability to pick the right options by hand or foot. His inability to snap a goal from 20 meters away under no pressure. His inability to open up a play and his uncanny nack of completely stuffing up a golden opportunity and putting his teammates under the pump when there was absolutely no need to.

What are the lines like for buying general admission at the gate? Any tips on seating/tickets/parking etc. could be handy.
Tickets-I'm a member so I've never lined up. We don't pull big crowds so I don't think u will find it a horrible experience
Seating-General Admission areas at Metricon are great. Don't worry about buying the more expensive stuff.
Parking-if u r up from Out of town and staying at Main Beach, Surfers or Broadbeach catch light rail to Broadbeach South and then get the free bus.
If u r a local who lives here then shame on you for not supporting your community and I'm not going to help u with my local knowledge on parking
Finally if u have travelled up for the game welcome to the Beautiful Little City and I hope u have a great time except for the footy result

You are out of luck mate General admission is all sold out.
They do this for every big name team that comes up to the coast.
Sadly you will be stung for the next ticket category up witch I believe is about $40.
You will then walk into a half empty stadium and think to yourself I just got screwed over Haha
The plus side is Metricon stadium is an amazing place to watch football not a bad seat in the place. Plenty a great food options and plenty to see and do in the breaks
Because i drive down from out of town i always park at the mulsim school so i can get a bus in to save the 15min walk.

Wouldnt it be just as easy to park at Nerang station and get the bus in? Certainly cheaper?
This will be our plan. Maybe even stretch the legs and walk from Nerang Station.
Yeah I noticed that, are you sure it's not just the ticketing agency pulling the general admission sales down from online close to match time? They do that in Melbourne for games. It is to try and get people buying the expensive stuff and save some general admission for game day sales at the gate.

PS now I know that u aren't a local I agree that u should park at the school on Chisholm Rd and pay the $10

Not that I was doubting anyone on here, but GA tickets are indeed sold out online and ****ed if I'm paying $50+ for a seat in a half empty stadium.
I usually have a membership so I've never paid attention, but is there likely to be GA tickets available at the gate?

There has to be. I found a map showing GA for Suns home games and those areas are rarely ever completely full.

I do remember seeing signs for 'standing room only' tickets in busy games in 2014, and it was just a GA ticket. So I dunno. The prices for the rest of the stadium are ****ing ridiculous given the game is going to have 14k max, with people definitely put off by the steep price.
Pretty poor given the Suns are struggling on and off field.
Yeah exactly, if I can't rock up and get a general admission ticket to a classless game like this where the stadium will only be a tick over half full I'll be annoyed. Never been to Metricon so this will make or break my opinion!
I thought Fiorini was amazing last game last year but I am not convinced this year, seems a bit "slow or indecisive' seems to freeze in front of goals instead of taking his shot, I know there are planty of us that love him but playing devils advocate I don't think he has been very potent at all this year

I'm going to wait and buy at the gate. Regardless, the next tickets up definitely won't sell out so it's worth the wait IMO.
