I boo'd Goodes today based on his constant ducking, diving and welching during the last few years of his career. Had the utmost respect for the bloke during the 05/06 era too.

For the record, I also boo Ballantyne/Boomer/Angus Wantfrees and Lindsay Thomas to name a few. These players aren't linked by race, but by how they play the game.

Edit: Trying to incite the crowd when you are 6+ goals down during the last quarter is a pretty bad look too.

Nah mate you can't do that. Ballantyne, boomer and monfries are fair game, but don't you dare boo goodes or thomas you racist!

Boo Goodes if you like, but just be aware of how it can be interpreted. The point I was making at the begining of all this is I think that the ammount of booing he attracts in my opinion extends beyond his diving, ducking etc..

Thomas, Harvey, Ballantyne etc.. are all way more severe offenders than Goodes, and they don't cop it as much as he does. There is certainly a racial element to the booing of Goodes. Not saying everyone booing him his racist (never would try and argue that point) but they are joined by people that do it for that reason.
And on your other point in regards to Hawkins. Until you can find historic evidence of white people being belittled and racially targeted with neanderthal insults, its a pretty stupid argument to mount

It can be interpreted however, the fact is he cops it primarily for being an outspoken flog who complains about everything, as well as the way he plays the game. They don't cop it as much because they go about their business and don't complain like he does. You just said it yourself, thomas is a more severe offender than goodes and yet he doesn't cop it as bad, simply because he doesn't complain about it because he knows it will only make things worse, not that goodes doesn't know that.

Nah your part about historic evidence of white people being belittled is stupid and beside the point, you were talking evolutionary slurs, a neanderthal would be a prime example of that. End of the day you're going to get sledged by the crowd, and you can take it however you want, but unless someone is calling you a directly racist term (N*gger, k**n etc.) then claiming racism is just clutching at straws. If that was the case, lindsay thomas would get called an ape as well.

Bite me to the DH who wrote this. Eagles missing THREE best defenders, including Gov, who could be AA this year.
Its funny, now we are flying, EVERY single victory write up has the opponent at the disadvantage. They have used the opponent being 'undermanned' about 6 times now. Pissing me off.
