Mackenzie is useless but he wasnt a top draft pick like Chris Masten. In my mind Masten is the most useless player at the Eagles
5 games today instead of the usual 4 so the top teams get at least a 6 day break going into finals. Networks are still getting the same # of matches as they normally do, just one game has changed days.
I also like it - a bit of choice for the public.

They would have had Luke Hodge and Jonathon Brown if the zones still existed today
I would say it was reasonably obvious from the outset there that kick to kick between Chris Masten and Eric MacKenzie on the last line of defense was 100% likely to cost us a goal.

Love it how there's a sudden return to outbursts of negativity after the first half, particularly considering we've been over-run by the best team for decades at their home ground.

It happened.
This is a good performance for a very, VERY, young team.
We showed alot in the first half, and dropped off in the second half (which you would expect).
Just got out bodied and out muscled by older, more experienced, senior opposition.

Finally over, 2010 a failure and first wooden spoon, I hope there will be a big clean out post season. Not holding my breath though.

shit still cant believe the score throughout the game. we did pretty well considering we've been attrocious. there was no chance in hell we were going to beat geelong but we did put up a fight.
on ga jnr think his emotions after the siren showed hes already made his decision into where hes heading and it looks like the sunny beaches of surfers paradise.
on the season. winning the spoon is probably the worst we can be and now its happened. hopefully theres a massive shake up of staff and players. in regards to worsfold even if we improve next season we need to move him on. his stubbornness and delusional aspect in his coaching has affected the side for 3 years but this year was the worst of the lot.

Yeah not overly impressed in how we finished the game. Just takes away the good we did, that being the quarter time win and only 4 points down at half time.
