Ok with going shorter down back this week. North will have to put Comben back in the backline vs our taller forward line.

Itll be Gov and Ginbey vs Larkey and Teakle probably.

Corr, Comben, Pink vs Waterman Allen Darling and JWilliams

two different goals both against north tho
They (whoever they are or Schofield) don’t think Bazzo is ready or maybe he doesn’t have a S & C clearance. He hasn’t really knocked the door down for inclusion.

Perhaps Maric willl be tried in the backline if needed. Teakle is tall but not a dominant influence.

Interesting that minimum changes have been made. Good to see Trew and the other new players get another game.

Like the idea of Maric back actually this week.

Teakle isnt much of an opponent so Ginbey can probably do ok there but having Maric floating around would be nice

replied to the wrong thing?

Maric too skinny to be playing as a key back.
I'd say give Ginbey a fair shot at it.
Yeo to help out if we're desperate.
Maybe Jack Williams or Darling are options.
Maric can just be the 3rd. Ginbey on Teakle and Gov on Larkey.

Just ideally want someone who can float in to assist and fill space in front of Larkey/Teakle leads, or jump in to get a fist in if its coming in high where Ginbey gives up about 7cm on his opponent.
Witherden probably does this though

Feel like using Ginbey as an in game option when a KPD gets concussed is one thing, but actually going into a game with him flagged to play as one of two is seriously risky.

We suck plus we suck in Tassie, so ultimately it doesn’t really matter and is a fine enough experiment this late in the year, but I worry that a decently winnable game could be thrown away at selection by going in so short down back. Interested if there’s any shenanigans with the extra tall forward line to balance things out.
