You would think with no VFL anymore, we probably sent 25 players (or even more) to Perth this weekend.

Wood, Rounds and McCarthy are almost certain not to play, under my "rarely there's a change for Friday Night games" rule, but they may as well travel, both as a safety option and because well, what else were they going to do this weekend.

It will be a big night for some WA boys, Leon, Krak and BJ all return in front of their families, Fasolo makes his Perth debut in the AFL and Harry and Tooves are also from the west.

Good to see Sinclair and Young to keep their spots in the team. Will be interesting to see Dawesy play, and how he plays. We're almost at full strength now, so it will be good that the majority of the best 22 has the chance gel together for next round against Geelong, and then for the finals :D

Re: Rd 23 Coll v Freo - Prematch Discussion - DaVe 86's Preview post 103

Wonder where Chris Dawes is going to play with Ben Johnson having taken his spot at CHF now? :D

I like the look of that side.

Good to see now that minimal changes will be made next week/ first final.

Wrapt to see Dawesy back in the side

Glad to see Sinclair and Young hold their spots but doubt either will be there come week 1 of finals.

You would think the logical replacements for these two are Ball and Shaw.

That leaves Sharrod... He must come back in so unfortunately that leaves either Blairy or Fasolo on the block.

LOL, yeah just noticed that half forward line

Sinclair, Benny J, Fasolo

BJ taken over from our usual CHF, Chris Tarrant :)

Hope Taz handles the crowd over there tonight, who are sure to give it to him...Have no doubt he'll be fine.

I'd love to see him line up on Jack actually, though JA may play down back I guess, assuming he's not sub, as he's on the bench and last named on the bench.

what ? - send all 3 emergs across as well - how irresponsible of them - imagine the cost involved, geez no wonder...............oh yeah, we are collingwood :D

So Luke Ball is having a Rest

a very well deserved rest.

Despite their injuries, the Freo team doesn't look too bad.

Was thinking the same thing.

LOL.

Try looking at it with the following in mind-

Barlow, Suban and Sandilands are still not at their best after injuries.

Hill has had next to no impact this season.

Duffield has been so out of form that he's been dropped.

Broughton was a 50/50 call on whether he'd play; he still may miss.

Palmer has been played out of position all season, this week probably won't be any different. That gut running, ball winning midfielder is now an indecisive, panicky half forward.

Dawes almost certain to start sub.
Don't fool yourself, this is the worst Docker lineup in many years.
I actually don't think Dawes will be the sub, if he's fit, he needs game time.

Young or Sinclair will take the dreaded green vest this week IMO.

Dawes is more then likely to be the player subbed late in the game though.:)

I am thinking Young might see the Vest

What?

A side that got flogged by almost 100 points against North Melbourne and loses 6 of it's better players for the next week doesn't look too bad?

We SHOULD absolutely destroy them.
