Wow wee, are you guys serious? How many posts have there been over the last couple of months about how good our league is or how far we have come as a league. As soon as someone try's and furthers themselves they are attacked on a public forum "again". I have 3 players trying their luck out at a higher level as I'm sure other clubs do too. I have been around a very long time and seen so many players that are "just Rdfl players" make a VFL list and you all piss in there pockets, there are also several ex AFL players running around that havent exactly set the comp on fire which play for your clubs for massive amounts of coin.
I wish bakes all the best and hope it all works out

Cheers. Tucky and hall were the ones I were thinking of, and they're worth every cent their paid, so wasn't sure who sunba97 was talking about.
Just trying to make a point that we should be supporting our local players for having a crack at a higher level. Just because there not from your club doesn't mean you shouldn't support them as a representative of our league. If the rumours are correct there will be even more Ex AFL players going around this year and hopefully they can leave a positive mark on our league.

I did nothing of the sort, my attack was targeted at the Collingwood FC and always will be!!!

Has any other club out there had their Under 18s players targeted from EDFL club Rolling Meadows? I have been told tonight that several of my 18s boys have been offered $50 a game guaranteed.

On another note, Nick 'Pecs' Sheldon is carving up on the track of late and seems to think he's a league medal chance.:thumbsu: Time will tell on that prediction I guess:cool: .

Ps. Lancefield suck

I watched the scratch match last night he went ok the young fella he was a bit stiff though he was pretty much the only midfielder on one side going up against three very handy players on the other side , Jarrod Tilley dominated for his first night and big Kruezer was very good in the ruck too , Desmond was also handy , good too see both of those new boys also signed last night .

I'll have you know that Alex 'use to have a large bunny' Desmond has been on 'lite n easy' and taken 2/3 inches off his waist line.:) He's also stopped eating scorthed almonds for breakfast

when do clearacnes officialy open? doesnt seem to be a s many names getting tossed around like this time last summer. Wallan dont sound like theyre losing anybody and have picked up a few as much as Id like to see it happen i still think they;ll improve but fall short of finals. Doona2 your name was mentioned as maybe joining our boys at wallan is that true?

bloke across the street says kilmore are backing up too quickly again after the craigieburn experiement by recruting heavily from the one pool again if they make inroads and win some games then who cares good luck to them i say

Clearances are already open Cal http://www.foxsportspulse.com/assoc_page.cgi?c=1-3351-0-0-0&a=CLEAR

As for Wallan that's 100% inaccurate. A couple of people casually bounced the idea some time agao but now way known, fair to say a few things happened around Rd.1 2012 that still don't sit right with me and anyway I think I was made out a bit of a laughing stock down there and dont carry much respect. There'd be more hope of me returning home to Broadford than ever going to Wallan.

In reference to your self labelled "Craigieburn Experiment" Kilmore FC was on its knee's last year, no one wanted to play there, locals failed to support the joint so if getting a couple of car loads in to help does the trick then I'm all for it and let's be honest we needed that (and more) in 2013.
Like Ive said before there are far too many people in Kilmore with plenty to say but lack the "balls" to put it into action. I for one still hope to get along and support the boys as much as I can as I'd like to find somewhere I can take my kids to that feels like home after having the wife (and kids) travel all over the country side for footy up until now.

The key to making it work is getting these lads to stick around long term, that's the tricky bit.

Rumour starting to do the rounds at Woodend that the Fev may be donning the brown and gold for a match early this coming season.

Round 2 first home game was what I was told as Yarrawonga don't play that day, in saying that his name was mentioned as doing something similar with Kinglake early in the year so who knows.

Another great pick-up for the Bombers# Jamie Lobb #
