Watched Wallan v Melton and was impressed with both sides courage and attack on the footy with many tough bruising contests.Wallans 1st and 4th qrts brilliant and Centrals 3rd into the wind very good.Thought Centrals had it at 3qrt time and No2 Aquillina kept them in it with my reckoning kicking 7gls 1 behind from 8 kicks simply dominated along with 28 who wasnt listed in record? For Wallan Nolan was very good along with Hayes,Dowsett and Stewart.Osullivan fearless and went well also.

Agree, thought Wallans first quarter was the difference. They had a lot more intent to win the ball! Hickmans marking and running was a highlight, Aqualina was a beauty! Back to playing at the level he did when he was at the Melton Bloods, good to see! Gilmore deep was dissapointing probably, stiff not to get a free kick at stages, shouldn't take away the fact his opponent played a great game to keep him quiet. Bonghart proved to be a good pickup for Centrals he took some good marks followed by quality goals. Harvey, the old diggers veteran showed he still has a lot of good footy left. Did tip Centrals to win but can't take away Wallans game. Again, well done Wallan.

Overheard some Rupo folk at the juniors yesty mentioning there could be a "Seekers" flavor today for the pre-game at Macedon this afternoon - Fantastic effort if true by Macedon FNC.

On another note, congrats to Nugget Nolan on his first win as a senior coach, and to boot 5 goals in the process shows there are still a few tricks in the old boys kitbag :D

They will win games no hope of finishing last but would be very surprised if they play finals they had seven kids that played 18 s in the last two games playing and have lost
Lobb, farmer ,z sadd , petrero, Dawson ,brewer, o'sullivan , berlack, c.wight , b,Mitchell this season and others the prior season
Ten quality players out of any side replaced with kids and seconds players is always going to mean a rebuild ..
As for dramas it's always been a drama down there over the past three seasons even with winning flags you can't sustain the lists they had and was always going to be at the expence of the loyal club people.

I wonder at what cost was the back to back and what benefit or long term cost did it come at ?????????

Let's talk bang for buck keston they got 2 premierships spending coin and broadford will have 0 for there spending spree so I think romsey wins on that count and now they will just go into a rebuilding phase and come back bigger and stronger in the future, as for broadford I heard fev may be available next year

Rupertswood looked far more dangerous for 3 quarters, but Macedon's backline put up a tireless, well-organised defense and was able to contain the damage. Kicking accuracy was a big issue for Macedon, but they started to hit targets in the last quarter and looked a different side. Rupertswood also looked out of run at the end of the game, and I think they were a player short after a player got stretchered off in the third(?) so I don't how much this was a factor.
All-in-all it was an intense, entertaining game of footy so congratulations to both sides for putting on a show for us!

As a side note, Umpiring today was terrible. I wouldn't say they favored either side, but there were a lot of questionable calls.

Caught the last 3 qtrs of macedon rupo game today.
Rupo looked very young but had plenty of run and looked the winners heading into the last.
Wright and harrison from macedon stepped up in the last and were the difference imo.
Good contest and expect to see both sides going deep into finals this season.
Swallow from rupo a very well deserved recipitant of best on ground medal.

Each club has an iPad and should be posting scores. It's not that hard but .... I guess some clubs are just lazy. It should be done for all games. 18s, ressies and seniors

Logged in at least half a dozen times, app froze. Unable to click on any icons.

Must agree that I too tried a few times over the weekend and found that either no scores were being updated or the App wouldn't work properly.
But as It Is Me suggests, I'm not over the technology but could it be left with the Timekeepers to use or does it depend on Wifi access?

Can somebody please tell me where and when this week's games are.
Rdfl website has broadford playing at romsey at 2pm and romsey playing at riddell at 6pm
Can this be right?
