Website is rarely up to date

I know I shouldn't compare things to the EDFL, but it's hard not to. Pretty fair to say the RDFL site is light years behind the EDFL one, which could well explain why some of the clubs ones have notices from 2014 leading their news sections.

I thought the umpiring was really good yesterday.. it's always nice to see umpires not in control, pay free kicks .. great team work all round.
Congratulations to Macedon for putting on a great day .. it had a finals feel about it with two quality clubs going head-to-head.. the A Grade and Senior football matches were amazing.. couldn't ask for a better day.

Wallan FNC is holding its annual past players/members day on Saturday 14 MAY at Greenhill Reserve (opposition club Lancefield).

We'd love to see as many past players and members as possible in attendance.

To register an expression of interest in attending the day please contact Robbie Fowler or click on the link below

How do we contact Robbie? I played a practice game for Wallan once so I could wear a black and white jumper :D

Very harsh considering they won easily...
What a joke even if points where taken away awarding the points to another club is a joke I guess not surprising considering the way this game is administrated these days just waiting for checks on points and mistakes made thru season and clubs to lose points then due to a admin era this didn't effect the result in the game a fine would have sufficed

In the words of John sam Newman our games gone to the shit no common sense

I don't know the full story.
But if it was just a simple admin error a very harsh penalty.
Is the player in question now cleared???

Hey old friend, trust your well. I don't know the full story but if they played a player not yet cleared then that's the rules. Clubs can't be playing players without clearances. If that's what it was then I agree with the decision but I don't know the full story. I guess they have the right to appeal if they believe they did the right thing..

Very very harsh penalty if as on the surface it looks like an admin error, and actually an error in the process that the league itself administer. Normally you can detect if there was any intent to deceive in discussions which we are all not privy to. Only Sunbury and the league know the discussions that took place, but if Sunbury went to the league, told them the situation and the league approved saying clear him properly on Monday then the league has to take some responsibility. That 6th spot is looking like a real opportunity for a number of clubs including Sunbury and Romsey and could be the telling 4 points needed to get in at years end.

Watched Sunbury twice they will play finals and believe romsey will finish between 7-9 th at best they have no depth and also have lost 14 premiership players over past two years this is not a crack at them they are re building playing kids and when the season gets on they will find it hard to cope a lot say that this was said last year but they are a different unit this season ...

Yeah that's a fair call they seem a shadow of their former self don't they and losing 14 players they are not the reigning premiership team trying to defend their title, they are a new outfit with by the sounds of it some really promising young players. As always you can lock Diggers Macedon Riddell Rupo and you would think despite Broadford really poor start to the year they will make it. Although if they go 0-4 or 0-5 they need to win all remaining games, that gets tough. But that 6th spot, Sunbury ,Lancefield making claims, Wallan will be tight. Be great if the top teams start losing some games though, not for them, but to tighten up the competition would be terrific so we have some suspense throughout the year.

Lost 12 premiership players from 2015 and about the same from 2014 side approx 24 premiership players. There quality youth will hold them in. Good stead. Let's hope it's dry on Saturday night. The game may be closer than people think.

Rumour has it an un named richmond afl or vfl star heading to Sunbury Kangaroos after walking out on club. Anyone confirm or deny?
Clearance in for Tom Ellard. If he is the one then certainly not a VFL star. Played a sprinkling of development league games. Ex Doutta Stars/Pacco small. Will go ok in this league but wouldn't think he will star. Strong Doutta Stars team he was getting a game in so he will certainly help Sunbury.

I think the wet will make it closer or it could be a rout
