Hi Chris if you read my post I was stating I had heard that was what happen from a source at the game this is a forum to discuss these situations was asking if this was correct didn't state it happened
Considering the stuff put on social media last year in regards to Rex Hickman wouldn't be pointing fingers
And I will make it a point to come and make my presence known when you come down and ask for you , you then can know my identity I don't need to like others on here put out who I am at this point till I've spoken to a few at the club.
Is it possible for others on here not to be so negative I made comments re my club as I am disappointed and wanted answers to what transpired and stated I will go through other channels so your views taken cheers
I'm not pointing fingers at any one pal, would just like this thread to be more positive!

The social media stuff you refer to is long gone pal, not needed to be brought up again, some players got carried away and a bit emotional after a few beers and wrote some stupid things in the heat of the moment. The issue was addressed in house and doesn't need to be discussed here!

Agree so let's move on Chris

How will the MCG pull up from today?
Take it the Cats will have one home one away before rep game in a fortnight, hopefully the weather gods are kind as it's a cracking setting for Football that joint

Definitely the most picturesque venue in the competition. Hope it does come up and hold up for Interleague.

Inter league training has been moved to Romsey tonight due to the heavy rain overnight in the Macedon area
Many thanks to the Romsey committee for allowing us to use the ground

My name is Chris pal, involved at Melton Centrals, just ask for me at Arnold's Creek or when we come to Broadford and you will have no trouble finding me..... I don't think I will have the same luck if I ask for Simon at Broadford!

And yes it is great to get on here and discuss topics but it wouldn't hurt to bring something positive to the thread, Yes, people were discussing the possibility of Lancefield and there coach going seperate ways, but most people on here would be shattered by this news because it's no good for Lancefield and no good for the league, no football club deserves to go through that this early in the season. It was you that wanted to discuss the accusation of abuse of players by said coach, sometimes there is things that should be discussed on a football forum, and other rumours might be best left at the front bar!

It's definitely a shame when coaches are moved on from any level, especially at this stage of the season. Just hope that the guys that came across to Lancefield with Ash see the season out, it could have a detrimental effect on the Tigers as they have struggled with 2s numbers in the past.

Andy is doing great things for the club. The 5 year plan for the club contains several things that we will continue to work towards, nothing will be ruled out at any stage, but each step in the process needs to be followed and established successfully, the club won't rush any element of our plan.

In regards to Woodlea, that has nothing to do with Andy, its a seperate development.
mmm, I should have thought of that! (western rams)

Did you enjoy the game Sunday?
Haha I enjoyed seeing your good self.. I ducked off straight after the game to see the lovely better half.
It was a hotly contested game .. loved that first half .. hard, competitive football and its finest.. you could feel the rivalry with each tackle! Congratulations on the win.. I know the big moves came from you :D

Just to clarify Ash did not get sacked he quit after the club told the players that they would not get paid after their poor performance on Saturday. He quit in support of the players. It will be interesting to see how the Tigers go now he has left?

The best thing Lancefield have done for themselves in the last 3years.
Never a "best thing" when a coach is sacked or leaves a club because he doesn't have the cattle on the paddock. Cam only has the same players to work with a harder few rounds ahead. I don't think it a coaching issue at the club. They have the best or one of the best forwards in the comp. If he can't get the pill in the forward line he can't kick a score. How is that a coaching issue.

Lets hope Rockbank get a bit of support fir this.

The clubrooms at Rockbank Football Sporting Club haven’t a facelift for more than a decade. The kitchen and flooring are old and there’s no heating or cooling.

Club deputy vice-president Simon Vannuccini succinctly describes the condition of the Rams’ rooms at Ian Cowie Reserve: “old and dated”.

Mr Vannuccini said the club was hoping to raise $30,000 to give the clubrooms a “fresh and clean” makeover.

“We’ve got 150 members … so we’re going to have a lot of families using the clubrooms,” he said.

“The fact that we don’t have heating or cooling is an issue. This upgrade will create a safe and clean environment for everyone.”

The club is planning to undertake the upgrades in several stages, with hopes to start the first stage by the end of next month.

Local businesses are being requested to help the Rams by chipping in with equipment.

Correct they haven't got the cattle and will struggle as a club going forward as will other clubs AFL goldfields need to restructure next season or some clubs might be playing for survival on and off the field as for Ash he has contributed as much as he could a colour full character from tullumarine.......

Any scores from rupo and lancefield
Rupo were over 100 up on Rockbank and Melton Centrals looked liked beating Lancefield.
Riddell beat Broadford, I watched the last qtr at Wallan, they beat Romsey by 7-8 goals.
Last score I saw Diggers were 2 goals ahead of Sunbury.

Majority appear happy with the Goldfields model so unsure what will change.

Back to earth with a thud today for the Rams boys. Rupo are a quality outfit and they simply outplayed us from the first bounce. It's just about the best Sharks line up since they returned to the RDFNL.

Good day for the club today. 3 wins in the footy and 2 in the netball.

The Rexhapi move rotating through the ruck has worked a treat and he and Kingy were very good. Two young guns showed their class while I thought O'Sullivan was brilliant and Chris Barton was excellent also.

Romsey look to have a very good future. Their team looked very, very young and full of running, if somewhat lacking in finish.

Who coached lancefield today and did all the Tullamarine players stay
Cam Wight coached. With help from his brother Brad and injured captain Bowden.
All the blokes Ash brought to the club that are fit played. And all played well.

Except for two 10 minutes lapses to open and close the game, match was very even.

Melton have improved a lot.
They and woodend have big a chance of making the finals.
