Seasons only young but the signs are there that Macedon are an awesome outfit.Having seen them smash Wallan Im not surprised to see the scores they since beat rupo n woodend by.They have a gun ruck and a good list of utilities that can play anywhere.
Does anyone know if the league is looking at the U18s draw to see if the teams playing Broadford or Lancefield can play each other.Surely would not be too hard to rejig and yes I know one of the teams would be seperated from the rest of club for that day but its all about the young blokes playing footy.If the draw stays as it is some teams will have 5 byes which is pathetic.

Macedon are a top notch outfit. The only worry from the outside is the lack of depth. Should the injury curse hits, they may struggle a tad.

Correct they have 1 good Ruckman, albeit Tommy has no help and getting no younger, have some great on ballers but are five injuries from being effed, Gisborne masters would beat their twos and well those hoops jumpers do nout for some ressies physiques.

Good luck to Cam and his brother for taking on the role. I really respect people for having a crack at coaching, especially during tough times, Lancefield are in good hands
Good luck fellas.
On a side note, what is going on with u18s at the moment? If this trend of disinterest continues the rdfl won't have an under 18 comp in the future, it's time to start thinking outside the square here I think, cheap rego, start filming games, better development, we need to show some interest in these young fellas not just at a club level but a league level.

Dunno about that, Gisborne aren't what they used to be. We beat them last week for the 1st time in years
oh great stuff Tiger so ur team could beat Macedon twos also, point was about their depth and it is shallow. There is serious problems all around with clubs failing to get up an 18's team and other clubs failing to have depth enough in their ressies. Leighroy is correct it is something that needs looking at.

A great turn out for Barn's send off yesterday, congratulations to the WFNC as they did themselves proud! Its been a difficult time off field for all concerned at the club, with the passing of Barney & Rick. On a good note it looks like the Magpies may see some September action this year! I would like to see that!!
Talking to many people involved in league last twelve months, the rdfnl needs a massive shake up with interleague from under 18 down. Change personal those in charge as it not working, embarrassing really! Another ordinary loss during week
Could well be right but I was told the 18s didn't field any players that are playing senior footy at the moment. Don't know much about interleague set up so not sure if Ballarat did the same thing. May have resulted in a one sided game though.
Any particular reason why the RDFL consider TAC Cup kids in the 18's rep side? Seems strange considering they are already playing rep football at a better level? OMHO give those a go who would consider interleague footy the best they could play.
