Great effort by the league to get the inter league game up for this season. Will keep the momentum for the concept going in this league. Nepean league is strong but our best team has a chance.

Disagree with criticism of last years selections. Will always be 1 or 2 you disagree with but mostly they got it fairly right. Keep in mind how many would be unavailable.

Don't totally disagree however no back up Ruckman in the squad big mistake ? Did the Bowen medallist Dylan Murphy (Question not statement ?) make the squad ? Also the leagues leading goalkicker Brian Ruffell was he available and or did he make the squad? .Mitch Farmer did he make the squad and or was he available ? Luke Smails did he make the squad if not why? He may have been suspended at the time?All questions not statements ?

All clubs are flying at this stage but let's be honest the top 5 from 2014 aren't going anywhere it's just only the order that will leave us all guessing. Rockbank did an almighty job to grab 6th with how much they actually spent. Macedon adding Kenny and co. looks the favourites to perhaps nudge out the Rams .....

Just had quick geezer at clearances page and anyone who thinks macedon wont be top 6 is kidding. they will challenge top 3 and from what i hear they havent finished recruiting yet. there list wasnt that bad last year something else must have been happening behind the scenes.

I said weeks ago with the players they have got in they should be looking beyond just making finals. You get that many good players in with the associated cash that goes with it and the expectation has to be more than sneaking into the 6. Having said that the loss of Crispin and possibly Wright to VFL commitments will hurt their midfield. Harrison is a bloody good player but he hasn't had to be the number 1 man before. They may need a bit of midfield support by years end. They have most of the things you need though with a key forward, good ruckmen and adding some quality key backs which was a major worry for them last year.

Broadford also looking good for an assault on the finals with the guys they have recruited. Some of them have question marks on them but if they haven't lost much then they have added enough to be dangerous. Couple of key backs, couple of key forwards and some mids is a good start. Discipline will need to be a focus for them as always. Good draw a huge bonus.

Woodend have also recruited well which I think will be shown in the clearances in the coming weeks. Great to see some of these teams pushing up.

Broadford had 1 report last year and that was from a 200 game player that had never been reported.
And truth be told if he wasn't going on holiday the following week we would of challenged the report and won.
