Shep seemed adamant we were playing Sunday v Macedon in Sunbury.
Was a bit heavy after the last game. Seemed ok considering the amount of footy on it this weekend.

My info probably wrong.
Stand corrected this is correct checking last years so should be Diggers vs romsey sunday at Clarke but with romsey hosting ground may be switched

The ladders have not yet been updated in full so there will be some delay in announcements I would think.
Can't believe that all results have not been lodged to enable this after the last home and home game.

If I recall correctly, last year the league refused to change any venues (to allow clubs to play sides together) - they were all played as announced - eg qualifying on Saturday, eliminations on Sunday at named grounds.
We shall see ....
Surely Romsey cant finish 6th and have a home final. How would diggers feel about that. But this has happened for years in the RDFL. Let’s hope there is some common sense, Pretty simple solution switch the Digger/Romsey game to Sunbury and the Wallan/Macedon game to Romsey.

Didn't Riddell get a home final two years ago against Cats, who cares if Romsey has a home final, they did finish 6th and if third placed diggers don't beat em it won't be because of the ground. Diggers game style probably suits Romsey ground better than Clarke to be completely honest.

Diggers vs Romsey if romsey spread and take risks they could cause upset but have to pick Diggers on experience
Wallan vs Macedon will pick Wallan on form Macedon been all over the shop but not without a chance if there on.

Putt played well in the twos, but was iced up after the game. Not sure if he plays. They looked really good, but not seeing Riddell for a while leaves me guessing. Rupo by 8.
Diggers by 38. Too good.

My point is home ground advantage during finals is crap. The big dance is played at the best venue, regardless of who is playing.

I agree I’m just stating that the AFL don’t have a neautral ground policy for any finals.

I disagree mate Home advantage is huge.
So if we apply your so called “common sense” thinking Romsey has to play every game at Clarke oval, and if they where to make the Prelim? Clarke oval again? Sounds like you have a bent against Romsey. So why don’t we just play every final at Sunbury and be done with it? would that satisfy your flawed sense of fairness. Finals are set weeks before H&A season finishes and nobody knows with any certainty which teams will make it and what positions teams will end up, if you make the finals it shouldn’t matter where when or how the weather gods treat you if your good enough on the day you will win no matter where the game is played.

Plenty to unfold but I tip a Riddel vDiggers granny this far out.Think Rupo go out in straight sets as Cant see Putt getting through a tough finals series and they dont have a strong Chf or Ff to clunk a mark or split the contest.Yes Rupo are quick fit and disciplined but think Diggers n Riddel big blokes are far better.Time will tell lets hope for a competetive finals series.
