Tim Walsh to Sunbury Kangas from Riddell
Should go well in Div 2 despite having a year off one would think?

It depends if he's still the size of a house, doesn't train and constantly plays injured as a consequence. From memory, he signed up at Gisborne last year and never hit the field.

Hopefully he can get it together. Seems like he would be a good asset for the younger brigade. Cheers mate.

I’ll be suprised if there’s even a club there next year

Heard the senior coach is gone

Told to reapply for his job by the new president despite signing for two years

I know he posts on here so maybe he could clear it up
Hey mate was offered the role but I was undecided due to so much going on with comp changes and movement at the top with President changes etc (no new President has been announced yet as it will get voted in at the next AGM)

Maybe Scotty will take on the gig as I can see you give him some love on the socials :)

They will have a side they always have and they always will.

Fair enough

I’d heard it sounded a bit more dramatic

99%+1% Rupo busted the cap in 2019 as well
Considering how much Wallan overpaid to get Perri in to kick goals against the bottom four sides, and having to drag players up to the ground that everyone despises playing at, it would be hard to imagine Wallan stayed within the cap. Doesn’t look like they’re worried by that this year either with the Stewart signing lol.

BC04 has rejuvenated this thread over the last couple of days.

I’m enjoying it.

Anyone got any other news apart from salary cap or who was better in 2019 between Rupo & Sunbury?

I know Riddell interviewed a couple for the coaching last week but still no announcement.

Has Ash been offered both the Strathmore & Riddell jobs and the clubs are waiting for him to decide?

2 pretty good clubs for him to choose from if that is the case.

Nah I’d say after 3 years at Strathmore he’d know that list pretty well and if they’re looking he’d maybe be the man. My mail is that Skip Bray is gonna coach Riddell, I mean after some of their latest sign ins he knows the list there.

Hammerling back at Riddell is a good get too. Wonder if Edwards goes back from Deer Park.

That 2nd Qtr that Hammerling played in the final against Wallan last year was one of the best qtrs of footy you will see from a young kid.

Riddell coach announcement imminent.

T. Waters (LFC) statement today: “by the time I’m through with Chris Stewart they’ll be calling him Chris Whoart”.

L.Tannenberg shopping himself around the league for highest bidding club, elite water boys are hard to find.

C.Williamson (RFC) has made serious threats to any new recruits trying to outbeard him. Warning it’s grounds for instant delisting.

Many league fans still wondering what was done about the umpire that openly stated he was cheating in a RDFL grand final.

The Rams will depart.

Huge bidding war amongst 5-6 clubs competing for the signature of one quality swingman from the area.

Macedon hoping to secure the services of Plowman direct from Carlton. Carlton would claim it was delisting but truth was Plowman is just seeking a better coach than Voss. So anywhere is on the table.

Backman around the league should be upping their weights program to try and handle Galea (RFC). The man is strong and knows how to protect the drop.

Wallan trying to get some key boys back to the club, whilst former RDFL club is hunting one of those former midfield stars big time.

Former Rupo player Brett Chambers has signed to a new RDFL team after a miraculous recovery from injury and old age.

Following all the other Rupo players to Riddell.
