One thing that I distinctly remember being said to me when my wife was pregnant with our first was from my cousin, he said "say good bye to morning sex". I scoffed at him.

It's so true. 😔

The fact my reply to you got interrupted so I could make toast, fetch toys from the bench and make coffee (that last one was for me) speaks volumes!

Did you get snacks Big man?
Just some Malteasers and water. Movie was a hoot!

Early game down at Freo v the Premiers. Runners and pink uniform ready to go

Chance for our WP girls to go 6-0 before a week off for Easter.

Special group this one. Real special.

Best of luck to 'em! I'm guessing early game means you get to watch the Eagles this weekend?

Decided to take some initiative and go to the gym before work.

Just got here and my swipe card isn’t working.

Serves me right for getting up earlier than I needed to. Should’ve just stayed in bed
At least your swipe card has your back

Do you guys ever watch pool or snooker on TV and think how good it'd be to play on a table that good?

I remember mastering some of the natural quirks of our table as a teenager, but gee it would've been easier to just play on a top notch table from the outset.

I watched The Colour of Money for the first time on Friday, I spent most of the movie thinking about how much I love pool. Had a table growing up and would spend hours playing against myself and listening to tunes. Then when I got older we'd sink booze and play all night, so many good times around pool tables.

Yeah they are bloody good fun. Reckon I'll get another when it suits the family arrangements.

I used to do the same. Knock off school, come home and play both sides in game after game of pool. Justify it as physics and trigonometry haha.

Apart from the piles of cat fur on our table, one of the pockets had a hole in it so you had to put a cushion underneath before you played or the ball would come bouncing out on the tiles and I'm pretty sure the table isn't supposed to slope.

Then my sister got a fish tank (and my dad fell in love with it and got another one) so suddenly there were two ends of the table where you couldn't pull the cue back more than ten centimetres.

The final hazard was one of the cats jumping up on the table during a game and chasing the balls around.

And this is all after the dog's made it impossible to play table tennis or darts.
I’ll never forget the time I tried to be a hero and do a 360 dart throw. Missed the board by about 5 metres and put the dart straight through the bathroom window.

Any good? It was well before Tom Cruise became a total knob/action hero specialist, back when he made actual good movies. And Paul Newman is a deadset legend (reprising his role from The Hustler, which I also must see). So I imagine it'd be a great watch.

It's a bit dated and cheesey but still good, definitely worth a watch. I didn't realise it was a Scorcese pic also.
