How does it work generally? One big event, or heaps of smaller ones, is everything ticketed etc? I was thinking Munich.

I could Google but I always like hearing people’s stories and experiences.

A large collection of the big beer halls in a convenient location is the main attraction - think maybe about eight or ten of them. No tickets to get in, there may be events around town that require it. It runs for a few days, although I doubt even a youngster could drink themselves stupid for a week straight. The people there are used to it, Munich is converted to one big festival with drinking everywhere. Public transport of course is super convenient at that time. Word of advice - book good accommodation early, you don't want to be stuck with overpriced shitty places for the night (unless of course you plan to get so wasted it won't matter where you sleep).

When I did it I picked a couple of beer halls to focus on, then ate somewhere else. Not sure if it's still a thing, but Hofbrauhaus was one I had the most fun in as I was surrounded by Aussies and it was more airy.

Hindsight will tell you he was probably right and it’ll decline just like every other Netflix show does when their showrunners think they’re clever

Sonny Walters kids go to the same school as my young bloke. Today he held a leadership talk at the school and as a surprise he organised Nic Nat to come along and also give a talk. What a bloke. Apparently the kids lost their s**t when Nic popped out without notice.

Speaking of lunch cruising is still the only way to travel…( covid bed wetters gasp in horror) no idea what the go is with that thing in wa but currently cruising to Melbourne for the cup with 2000 others and barely a mask insight… rapid test 24 hours the day before you board then on ya go….
