I wait with great anticipation for every Nolan release. Really looking forward to watching Oppenheimer.
How would you rank his films

I'd go

Inception
Dark Knight
Interstellar
The Prestige
Batman Begins
The Dark Knight Rises
Memento
Tenent
Dunkirk

Enjoyed them all though
(Never saw Man of Steel or Following)

It looks pretty good, keen for a watch. Any money it ends on "Now I am become death, the destroyer of worlds."

Edit: or starts with it.
It’s not that I find it boring but it’s one of those movies I watch if I’m in the mood for it or if i’m crusting in bed with a hangover and have no obligations or plans for ghe rest of the day. Tbf these days I struggle to watch movies for that long

Oh shit I’m probably gonna dislike this lol. Only movie I sorta liked from here is Dunkirk. Hated all the batman movies and haven’t seen a few others

Same - love them all, feel putting the last 4 down there was disrespectful but a list has to have its bottom end.

Can barely remember Insomnia but recall thinking it was a bit lame.

I look forward to seeing it in cinemas, and then to watching it on streaming with subtitles and finally understanding the dialogue.

It was only really like that with Tenet and then only a couple of scenes where they got the sound vs speech drastically wrong. But lol yeah I did this exact same thing when I got the Bluray, went straight to the subtitles for a few scenes.

I didn't understand how you could hear an alarm clock in your dream until I watched Inception.

Well it was never explained in a dumb enough way for me to get it before anyway.

Tenet was the worst, but Tom Hardy in both Dunkirk and TDKR was unintelligible.

I once dreamt my alarm went off. Woke up and couldn't understand why pressing the button on my phone was just opening the menu. Then realised it was 2 hours too early for it. Then cursed God.

Other dream facts I can say from experience:
  • You can dream in colour
  • You can hear sounds
  • You can feel pain
  • You don't necessarily wake up if you die in a dream
  • You can read in a dream but don't expect the text to stay the same if you try and reread
  • You can sit bolt upright out of a nightmare like in movies/tv

Got the news tonight a long time friend passed away.

He moved down south a few years back and we lost touch a bit. Always assumed there would be more time to catch up down the road.

Life has a cruel way of teaching you lessons. Never leave things for too long, you never know how much time you have with people.

Even though I know that I'm being unreasonable, and the alternative of trash just being thrown on the ground is far worse; I still can't help but feel annoyed when strangers put rubbish in my bin that's on the verge waiting for emptying. 🤷‍♂️

I'm jealous you have the space!

Does it depend on the rubbish?

Ie is someone putting a chocolate wrapper in the bin different from them putting in a bag of dog poo?

You've got nappies, that's like 3 quarters of a bin per week.

I find all of it equally offensive. I went past a sign on another person's bin that said they don't mind dog poo but it has to be in a bag. Couldn't help but wonder how much unsolicited dog shit is getting put in their bin.

If I’ve got a wrapper or a tissue or something and I walk past someone’s bin (and it hasn’t been emptied yet) I might throw it in, but dog poo I reserve for my own bin or a public bin, because I think that’s a bit rude.

Mate, I have no doubt in my mind I'm being completely unreasonable, I honestly don't get it.

Small bin too. Big recycle and green waste, though.
