To be far to Hurley, he was playing on Jurrah more than he was on Green but Jurrah beat him too...

He's better suited up forward. Hopefully Dustin "trippy" Fletcher can stay out on the park so Hurley can play up there.

You'll find that the majority of Brisbane supporters acknowledge that he'll be a better player than D Rich. Simon Black-like.

I think Rich is and will continue to be the better player, he has more tools and anyone watching closely can see that the crap about him not improving is complete codshit.

Jack is a great prospect too though, was drafted as a bottom ager and like TheGeneral said, he already has the frame to be doing some damage. 22 possessions (11 contested) on the weekend. I'd like to see his disposal improve a bit more before I make genuine Simon Black comparisons though.

Redden's best asset is his tackling, both in numbers and execution.

You guys had better start making room for Rockliff in your lists. He would have to be a huge chance for the Rising Star this year and keeps getting better and better.

Btw Redden is nowhere close to Rich. Nice player but not in the same ball park as far as class goes. Rich is learning to deal with number 1 tags and is working it out in the second half of the year.

Hurley completely torn apart by Brad Green today. As suspected, highly overrated.

LOL Panff - no idea as usual - played on Brad Green for about 10 minutes.

Jurrah beat Hurley is a bit of a stretch - he took a few marks on him and kicked a goal but really didn't have much of an impact.

Hurley was one of our better players on Sunday - I don't know where the two of you are coming from.

Dogs did amazingly well out of this draft. Jones and Roughead look the goods.

Ayce Cordy is the only concern. Has the skill but I think his body is just not made for the AFL. Consistently getting injured.

Jurrah kicked two and got a GA, Hurley was not one of your better players, not by a long shot. Hurley will develop into a quality player, but he made some costly mistakes against Melbourne, i can think of two which gave melbourne goals; Jamars 50 and trying to mark instead of spoiling against brad green in a three on one contest

:eek::eek: How so?

Roughead does look the goods, but the other two havent played seniors could hardly call that amazing.

Hurley also turned the ball over that directly resulted in the Sylvia goal in the 4th qtr.

2. Hill...best midfielder with heaps of pace
3. Rich...best kick in the draft, and AFL!!!
4. Sidebottom...a very clever player with great goal sense.
5. Hartlett...very good user of the ball and super strong around the hips. don't need many games to see a star here
6. hurley...best KPP, who looks like the best from the draft at times
7.Zeibell...Very solid midfielder. One of the Roos best already.
8. Beams...Great hard running mid who is great around goals.
9.Phil Davis...Best defender who looks like anoth Bock.-high possesion winner
10.Yarran...best small forward, quiet last season, but great this season

Mate give it a rest - He was easily one of our better defenders.

Naming a couple of mistakes a game - well I can do that for the 44 players on the park

Most Essendon supporters have him in the votes or praised him for his performance. If that was a poor game from Hurley then jeez I'd like to see what his good games are like.

Tyrone vickery is progressing very nicely indeed.

Dont know how quick roger hayden is, but TV sprinted away from him on the wing on saturday night and then punched the ball 60 m on the run in a Brett Deledio type of play.

Has gone right past Nic nat this season on his output

well, there have been three mistakes he made costing goals mentioned, i would hardly call that a good game; he wasnt terrible but i wouldnt have called him GOOD or in your best, Ryder, Winderlich, Lovett-Murray, Neagle and Watson were your best IMO. I think its safe to say he was average

whats your point? on the melbourne board we have people praising Jurrah for his game and giving him 8/10 when he didnt play well at all in my opinion, sure he got two goals and looked good three or four times. Supporters are generally biased towards exciting young players and give them some leniency, simple as that.

Which output is that?

His half as many hitouts?
Or perhaps his half as many goals?
Or perhaps his half as many tackles?
Maybe it's his 30% less touches?

Great output though.

First half of the season he was playing a lone hand in the ruck.
Fair to say Nic Nats got good support in Cox, where as TV didnt have that support
