Still pumped about our start to the year. We know we can play with the top teams. And will learn a lot from that end of game scenario. We’ve outplayed our opponents in 4/4 games for a 3-1 record. We’re looking pretty good.

Absolutely huge today. He’s going to gain a heap of confidence from that.Sharp:
- 4th game for Freo,
- 29 possessions
- one goal
- 657 meters gained
- Cost us nothing

Has a lot of upside still and genuine pace as well as sustained running ability. Young, got him for nothing and should lock down a wing for 6-8 seasons easily. Huge positive for the club.
You've woken up this morning, given the wife extra time to get ready while you play with the kids. Had a succulent meal for breakfast, gone for a walk around the river while your girls twirl down the footpath in their 'pretty dresses'! Held your lady's hand and thought, Perth in autumn is amazing and life is beautiful.
Come to Bigfooty thinking that not many gave us a chance yesterday and our young guns stood up against a mature, hardened team and were in it until the last minute. What a season it will be, knowing we are at the beginning of the decade of dominance. Spirits are high on the Freo board, as we watch players continue to develop. While others show that even though they came here for nothing, they are making the case for recruit of the year.
Excitement is in the air! You are full of joy and positivity and we get to look forward to seeing the boys take it to Port of the back of a 7 day break. You beauty!
I mirror this kinda, exept I'm enjoying life on the Sunshine Coast just been watching the Junior Surf comp at Coolum Beach.
Yesterday had a three hour surf yesterday before watching the footy. A little sunburnt but happy I got some nice waves.
Perfect! Life is beautiful when we choose to live it.
And despite the heartbreak of the finish, there were a lot of positives from the game. I have some work today, then more time with the family and will mow the lawn and fertilise it before many 'boookkss Daddeeee' and time with the wife tonight.
On the purely football front geez I loved Draper's game yesterday. Obviously Curnow had a massive influence in the second half but nearly all his marks were contested so we've got a second year tall who can stay with and match the athletic traits of one of the most athletic tall forwards in the afl currently. Draper also played his junior games as a forward and I think there's a decent chance at some point in his career he'll be moved back to the forward line where he'll be a nightmare to match up on.Sounds like a bang on Sunday arvo!
We can get wound up about things we can't control instead of just chillin out and enjoying what we have.
Sucks we lost but for a young side we have some smart capable players who have tue potential to be a top 4 side already

Here's some of his forward craft.
Also love the game of Sharp a bloke we got for nothing. Can't wait to see what Jackson can do playing mostly forward in the coming weeks. Pretty excited by the progression of Emmett against quality opposition as well. I think Simpson and Erasmus will be given a chance to show their forward craft while Freddy and Swita are out injured. That could yet be a good thing in terms of increasing our forward options this year.
Moving forward we have potential top 8 prospects this year despite having a very young squad (4th youngest in the afl) and a ton of cap space and draft capital to make more moves at the end of the season.
I'll add watching wafl currently. Hugh Davies is going to be a gun for the Dockers at some point. His ability to read the flight of the ball in marking contests is elite for a young key defender. He's improved an absolute ton since last year. Meanwhile long term Simpson will be a gun and Jack Delean shows some terrific attributes even when he is not winning much of the ball. I challenge Poshman to an optimism off.Signs for optimism plus some more

We need to setup for the triple J whenAdd to this that we will see Chapman back for 15 games plus finals and looking like an A grader! Our year is going so well that even Banfield is playing consistently at a high level and looks a lock in the B22. Just plug him in and watch him influence the contest and average a goal a game. We haven't mentioned that Darcy will come in and bully rucks throughout the league, allowing Jackson to sit on their heads repeatedly at the end of quarters.
Needless to say, I accept your challenge!
What Kane Cornes doesn't get (because he's a moron) is that we are most dangerous when Jackson rucks against non specialist rucks like Charlie Dixon. So when Darcy goes up against the first ruck and Jackson the opposition 2nd ruck. That's when Jackson can do special things like tap it to himself and win the ball out of the centre.Add to this that we will see Chapman back for 15 games plus finals and looking like an A grader! Speaking of rucks I'm actually pretty surprised how well Reidy is going so far this year. He could yet be a very handy back-up ruck for our list. Our 4th ruck option is also showing significant improvement in Knobel. Today he got 52 hitouts at reserve level compared to the entire Subicao team that got 21. I think Knobel's developing nicely as a long term talent.
I agree. Also when you take Tabs out and replace him with Jackson (minus Jackson's ruck time) in the forward line our forward pressure improves dramatically. In other words Tracey will spend more tine forward kicking goals as he won't have to ruck while Jackson will spend more time forward and is far more dangerous than Tabs.
When it all clicks we will be lethal
